Since the patch of yesterday (7-10-24) when working garden crops either gathering or pruning many times you get no action and a message that states Invalid Gathering Time.

Please fix this bug.

That's been around forever man. I tried to figure it out. At first I thought if say your crop was 100 percent when you started to gather and it ticked to 101 percent before the gather ended it bugged. Now I think it's more as you are moving quickly between crops you start gathering while you are still moving a lil and that bugs it but I really don't know. Def wish they would fix it

It's happening alot more frequently since the patch, at least in the three times I've harvested from my farm. It would only happen maybe once out of the twenty, now it's around 50% of the time.

Same here.  Happening much more frequently no matter what was going on.  Sometimes standing in one spot at one crop, have to shift around multiple times before I can harvest or breed.  Before this was only rarely occurring.  I was thinking it was a networking change.  I am also disconnecting without reconnecting much more frequently when AFK.  They may have tweaked their timeout settings.  And that - would be just one more part of their operating cost reduction efforts that they have been styling as "simplification" and "improvement".

Global labs had a recent patch where they reduced the reconnect timeout period.

edit: This should probably have been under bug reports.  Any reasonable forum software would allow a mod to quickly move this, but...

Let me be more clear.  I have farmed in this game for ages and the rate at which the message appears now is a drastic change from what its has always been. Farming 20 (5 slot) crops I now see this happening 4 or 5 times per 20 as opposed to in the past maybe once out of 60.

Ya I get it. Let me be more clear. It barely happened I agree. Now it happened 3 times on my first 60 crops which is more often. Then my last 40 crop gathers I made sure to stop my dude completly before each gather and it hasn't happened again so try that. Most likely it will just last this week and be corrected next patch but I'm sure it won't be ever completly gone.

Same here, I've just got it 3 times in a row trying to prune a crop. It's really annoying. It's been happening A LOT since the update.

Same problem. Before patch I've seen this message once a week maybe, now I see it 20 times per day.

Same, sometimes 4 times on 1 crop and that is while standing completely still. I don't have to move to try to re-gather the same exact crop so I don't think movement or lack thereof would fix much of anything. Hopefully they fix the bug. I'm not a super avid farmer. I'm only M7 but this is the first time I've seen this happening. Every so often, because I hit R thinking that the crop loot window would pop up, I accidentally gather a crop instead of breed it as well.
