Can we please make the game funner for perma red players?
1. Remove level 49 protections if you're negative karma.
2. Disable character tagging for perma red players
3. Make it so you're unable to target other players if you're under -500K karma
4. Make is so you can't target other player boats if you're under -200K naval karma
5. Remove world boss protections for red players
6. Make city guards (Level 99) attack red players and track them down for extended distances
7. Add a bounty system for red players. Kill a red, get a prize.
8. Remove crystal protection for gear downgrades at -500k karma
9. Upon reaching -500K or below karma, a player is banished to one of the Arsha servers and barred from entering a non-Arsha server until Karma is above -500K.
Let's clean up the trash and bring back real PvP. People that do nothing but kill afk fishers and horse trainers all day isn't PvP, it's just toxic trash.
Yes, Anyone who kills an afk fisher is toxic trash. Can't believe we finally agree on something.
XD
-remove the WB protection for red players also while keeping it for everyone else
-have city guards that hunt red players to the ends of the earth

WB = ?

PvP in BDO? In this day and age?! In the open world?!?! While being "evil"?!?!?!
That's like asking PA to resurrect a dinosaur since what's left of it is some fossilised remains at this point kekw
And making it more fun while they're at it?! One can dream...

The only purpose negative karma still serves is being a deterrent for people not to PvP unless it's in the designated area's where they removed the pillowy padding on the walls and floor. The semi-hardcore aspect was first to go and then they catered to the part of the playerbase that didn't want open world PvP of any kind anymore, because who'd want that in a PvEvP game anyway.
We gotta face it that BDO is hardly an MMO anymore unless you specifically go look for other players. Nowadays we're just playing a 3rd person PvE hack and slash with a combo system to keep us in the lackluster and superficial gameplay loop of stacking silver to stack more silver and stack more silver on top of that. Maybe do the same grinding loop on a different flavour of mobs but for less silver and some rare drops instead if you're bored of only going for silver. And then when your gear is finally (getting) up there who knows, finally you could maybe experience some Siege to see what the only somewhat more in-depth PvP experience is like.
Or people don't get there and do capped content.. Or even worse; AoS with not only caps but also extra modifiers and unique crystals to muddy the water way more. And then have those people think they know what PvP is like while the game isn't even balanced around it in the slightest (which is a W though, even if they have Ranked AoS which in and of itself is a joke because it's the same classes in a radically different setting)
tl;dr
people get brought up in seasons and mentally short circuit when they get confronted with the PvP part of the "open world PvEvP" game they started playing so rather than risk people getting a rude awakening PA opted it better to systematically remove more and more of it and replace it with soft pillowy padding on the walls and ceiling because we can't allow anyone to get hurt in today's day and age. So unfortunately I fear that trend will continue and the best we can do is dream of an alternate reality
7. Add a bounty system for red players. Kill a red, get a prize.
PA picking this up feels like so much of a reach even Mr.Elastic can't get that far.. but if they do
This point 7 could also bring back Black Robed Man in Velia, but I imagine it in reverse.. not a way to find player location on the map because that would remove the "hunt" of bounty hunting.
More so functioning as the equivalent of a bounty board: He could tell you the char/fam name of all red players on your server when speaking to him so you know if it's at all worth going out to hunt or not.

This post is isn't even about PvP. PvAFK is not equal to PvP.
