Anyone knows what the deal is with this new boss? I can't find any info. It's in the codex and apparently you spawn it with a scroll but other than that I know nothing. I mean iIknow the root nymphs are in a cave in sputhern calpheon and I went to check there and there was nothing. I thought it might be a boss of the revamped calpheon questlline but I read the summary and objectives of all those quests and i saw nothing about this boss.

Less than two motnhs ago i finally got all mobs and bosses at S (well... except Mutant Ogre and Mutant Troll) and so I'd like to take care of this one asap. I suppose it could be a thing where they added the entry but the boss isnt in game yet. 

Havent heard of anything in this regard, and most of the current development is likely to be related to LoML2 at the moment. 

Be aware that not everything that gets added to the game files / codex actually makes it in the game itself. So rn, we can only speculate.

Mutant Ogre and Mutant troll 'only' take ~15 minutes per kill since the accuracy/evasion changes. There's a lot of bosses now that are harder to get to S.

Cause if so that is the BDO news of the year. Finally i can get S everywhere!?!?

And yeah like I got katzvariak at S in one kill ut i was alone and i remember that, at the time anyway, it took me 45 mins ot so. 

In my personal experience the worst mob to get at S is Kvariak. I was kinda lucky i got it in 20 kills. That's still close to 60 hours of grind or so.  I mean one gatekeeper took ages, like close to 300 kills, but at five mins a kill now (well i did at least a third when it took me 10)  that's like maybe 30 hours. I mean i suppose that although Lekrashan took me I think 6 kills, the fact that you pretty much kinda have to get a carrack to kill it, well if you never got one, you have to factor in the time it takes to make one into the grind in a way. But it's much easier today. When i got my carrack though, you were talking a few weeks of constant bartering.

So yeah googling i realised this boss has ALWAYS been there! But somehow it wasn't in the ecology list until recently. Weird. 

So it would seem that it is not true because that NPC has nothing to give or sell me.

Is this part of a quest or what?

Yes, solo.

Though iirc Katzvariak takes me around 10 or 15 minutes to solo. 

Yeah. It  should be mentioned i suck. I mean i went to check it out this morning and it took me 30 mins to take down Mutant Troll, not 15. But whatever, that's still good enough that i'll grind it. After all you get a kvariak spawn every two hours and a half or so  so it's better than farming kvariak.
