Bought Crimson Outfit 3-pack: Can I put 2 unused into Family?

Hello there. I can't figure out the answer from searching, so maybe someone can explain it to me. I'm new to this game and have only been playing a couple months.
I purchased a 3 pack of the Crimson outfit from the Black Friday sale in the Pearl shop, thinking I would open one for my current character, and then have 2 more for future characters after I graduate this one. But I can't move the 2 unopened outfit boxes to Family storage. What is the point of a multi-pack of the same outfit if not for multiple characters?
Can someone talk me through this? I only just opened up my Family storage this week, so I may be doing something incorrectly.

That's not what family storage is for. Just use one of the city/town storages.

Family storage is for elixirs and scrolls used for combat exp or item drop increase. Like Entropoid said... use a city storage.
