On returning from work, I — along with about thirty other unfortunate players — discovered that our fishing had been disrupted, our carracks destroyed, our sailors injured, and our caught fish deleted. All of this chaos was caused by Loli_Pirate; a perma red player who prides themselves on ruining the fun of others (Including the GM's as they released a video of them attacking GM boats).
Naturally, I wasn’t willing to let this go without retaliation. I used the Adventurer Search to identify all of Loli_Pirate’s alternate accounts and fellow guild members, planning to sink every one of their ships. I didn't care about naval fame. I would gladly carry creates 400 to make Loli and his guild Clash feel the pain, suffering, and frustration that their friend Loli had caused. Once I had a list acquired, I then checked the naval fame, and to my dismay I found PA issued an update that reduced the naval cap to -10,000,000 from the original -1,000,000. Instead of carrying creates 400 times, I would have to carry creates 4,000 times from coastal cave to veila. This is infuriating as it would take literal weeks to recover my naval fame. Now I face the horrible prospect of being forever trapped in Piracy and the only way out is to accept my fate as a new pirate on the seas forever hunting those who prey on others.
Recommendation
If PA wants to curb toxic behavior, the solution is straightforward: create social structures that discourages naval player killing (PKing). When a player commits an unprovoked naval attack (such as sinking AFK fishing boats), give all victims — and their guilds — a temporary opportunity (24 hours) to gain naval fame by attacking the PKer and all their guildmates ships by marking them all red. This would create social pressure within the PKer’s own guild, potentially leading to the PKer being kicked — a devastating consequence that would naturally discourage this kind of toxic gameplay. This structure also sends a clear message: If you can't play nice with others; then you can't play with others.
I welcome any feedback in the hope that we can all work together to create a healthy PVP environment while at the same time punishing cowerdly griefers.
Sincerely,
Warkeg
That same player got me yesterday at Lake Flondor. -_- Probably lost 200mil in fish. They were probably scoping out fishing areas, in the sea and on land, to snipe AFKers just to ruin their day.
I don't care what anyone says about "being in a combat zone". PVP, to me, means the other player involved is IN COMBAT in the COMBAT ZONE... Not sitting on a chair fishing! When players kill afk fishers or horse trainers, it's just being a bully.
What i find people that pk people are people that the only way they can kill someone. If you confront them they normaly run away because they are not gear for some one that can fight back
If this pirate cleaned up near Tigris Island.....KUDOS!
Use a level 49? People killing afk players isn't something new, and as yet, PA hasn't changed every rule to disallow it.

You’re absolutely right that killing AFK players isn’t new and it can be prevented by using a level 49 character. However, that solution doesn’t work for everyone as it’s more of a stopgap born out of frustration. Many players just want to relax or fish, yet find themselves repeatedly targeted by griefers, and are prevented by game mechanics from fighting back.
This is why I suggest balancing the freedom to grief with clearer social consequences—like a system that flags both the attacker and their entire guild, giving victims and their guilds the chance to retaliate without facing the same punishment griefers endure. Providing a way for players to fight back would encourage open and consentual PvP and ship combat while detering random griefing.
In the end, the player who is griefed should have the option to use a level 49 for safety or seek revenge thereby creating a consentual PvP atmosphere. My post is not about disallowing PvP, but rather finding ways to ecourage it while at the same time discouraging griefing.

That's what I did right after it happened. I still think it just sucks, though, cause it's not good gamer etiquette, imo. As mentioned before, yes I understand I'm in a combat zone, but I'm not intentionally partaking in combat with another so it's not PVP... PKers are just bullies. Just because they can doesn't mean they should. It shows lack of integrity even if it is just a game.
What REALLY sucks though is Warkeg's situation cause their boat got destroyed and died losing fish. Even if you're 49, you may not die but your boat gets wrecked... which still sucks
Hey everyone, Loli_Pirate here. No need to go red yourself, Im the only one in my guild that sails. I have -10mil naval karma, so you're free to attack me anytime without consquence. DM me anytime if you want to have a ship duel, I love ocean PvP.
I RP my character as an eco terrorist intent on saving all the poor fish from the nasty fishers. I'm just trying to save the environment D:
Also the video of me "attacking GM boats" was a sailing PvP event hosted by the GMs with the objective to sink the rival's team's GM boat. I have only sunk a GM's boat once, which was when it was first sailied ourside a safezone on NA (world first Galleon sink btw). I dont attack GM events. Infact, I actually guard the events from other pirates with my boat, ask anyone who has taken part in an ocean event.

Hey Loli thanks for chiming in! I think it is pretty hilarious how you role play your character haha; someone's gotta save the fish!
But anyways, given that it would affect you or your guild, do you think the system I proposed would help to encourage ocean PvP and hopefully reduce griefing? What other ways can we life skillers defend ourselves or bring the fight back to griefers?
I will absolutely be DM'ing you. I'm out for blood XD
