So yeah, these forums are extremely barebone and frankly, sub-standard for a service we pay for. There are literally millions of free forums that are better than this one. In fact, this is probably the worst forum I've used in 20 years.

Here's a list of pretty much standard features missing from this forums. And the list is no way exhaustive. Just things from the top of my head to start with:

* The ability to see which topics you've posted on already

* The ability to follow topics

* The ability to get notifications of followed topics, mentions and quotes of your posts

* The ability to jump to these notified posts

* The ability to jump to the first unread post in a topic, and the last post in a topic

* The ability to see when exactly was the last post in a topic written

Let's get those done. Then we can start moving into more detailed stuff like tracking likes, etc.

you've only scratched the surface on what these forums need.

I would like to add to this list. 

Give us a blocking/ignore feature.  I prefer blocking so the people that I block can't even see what I posted.

Add a posting requirement, at least a Linked account or better yet an account that has logged in for more than 12 hours within the past 30 days to be able to post more than 3 times per day, that way "new players" or potential returning players can post or ask a question, however it will slightly prevent the trolls who haven't logged in to the game in 3 years if ever from spamming the boards with irreliveant dribble.

Add a dislike feature, so that we can see if the community likes or dislikes something, along with the ability to remove the like that you already placed.

Oh and a big one, stop logging a user out every 10 minutes, it takes longer than that to read an entire post and then respond in most cases.

The forum being this bad hurts PA more than the players.

When people come to the forums and see how broken they are they assume the game is the same and in some ways they would be right.

I personally used to see broken things in game and assume it was just very complicated or maybe not possible to fix but after seeing these forums like this, broken for so long while even forums created by amateurs are light years better it tells me that PA just doesn't give a crap and that the broken things in game are still there likely for the same reason.

I mean if your not competent enough to do the very simple and basic programming necessary to create a decent forum how could you ever do the very complicated programming tasks needed to make an MMO without it being flooded with bugs,glitches,exploits,balance issues,economy issues etc.

How long should we need to endure your session timer being so short that we need to relog multiples times per hour in order to keep posting on the forums.

This is 2021, there are perefctly secure setups allowing forums users to be permanently logged in.

This honestly is one of the worst forum settups I have seen in years.  

There are many ways in which this forum could be improved but number one is for sanity's sake please get some forum moderators and stop the childish bickering and personal insults that is being perpetuated by quite a lot of very heavy posters. Without these people the forums would be improved out of sight. The next most important thing is a block user function.
