I hopped channels three times today trying to find a camp I can grind honglim undisturbed and three times I get ganked the moment I spawn a boss. They're greatly stronger than me, I die in two skills, they kill my boss and run off. Cool, thanks for playing.

It would be different if it was good fights. Like if it felt like I was on an even playing field with people that wanna fight but that's not the reality. I have never, in all my hours of playing this game, had an open world encounter that felt like it was even sort of even. Either I'm stronger and I can just ignore them and keep grinding and they die in my aoe, or they're stronger and I get smashed almost immediately. This is not fun gameplay, bro. This is not enjoyable. And there's nothing much I can do about it but hope I find an empty channel or simply go play a different game where I'm not going to get flagged on by bored turbo players with literally nothing better to do than to impede the gameplay of someone that's just trying to mind his business and get some silver.

Just bad luck.  Normally I can find an open spot, or the others around me are just minding their own business.  Keep looking around, or try other places... People will eventually get bored of this place.  Or, just harden your heart to this behavior.  One can get used to it.  That or always have a back-up place to grind.

Just don't ask PA to get involved.  They'll make things worse, as things have been deteriorating these past three years.  Maybe four.

Are you grinding on arsha? Or are you flagging ? It sounds like your flagging back at times which unless you know what your doing when it comes to crystal protecting your gear and having backups I wouldn't recommend.

Open world pvp is dead there's a few guilds who risk thier gear and are red players but they have backup crystal sets and such they swap to on the fly to try and negate that stuff  as much as possible.

Personally given how dead the pvp open world stuff is I actually think they should remove flagging it's lost its purpose. You want pvp in the open world go on arsha that simple.

I have also been ganked by these red players at honglim however I have the gear to go toe to toe with them most of the time or just evade them long enough to cc them a few times and just prove I can outplay them even if I might lack power to actually kill them. 

However  I've also had good back and forth fights with these red players until they just ruin the enjoyment by having thier buddy come and make it a 2 v1 which ya ill fight that for a bit then I'm just gonna get off or swap. You want fun fights yet you bring another to have advantage no thanks I'm good thanks for ruining the fun fights zzzzz...

I also find it funny there's no mani realm for honglim yet as it's one of the only spots to grind due to

everyone and thier mom needed ing essence .

You can't buy it on the market atm pre-orders are up in the 8k plus now  KEKL you might win a needle in a haystack but I doubt it.

Not Arsha, and I'm not flagging. Just fighting back when attacked. But its always been somebody that outgears me and my spells don't move their healthbar at all. Its super lame, and I've never liked this system. I get they wanna push players together to fight over things but these aren't fair fights. I don't do damage and they can punch through my dp no problem.

If you are attacked by a red player (flagged) you cannot do damage to them unless you activate pvp, ie. flagged too.

thats not how it works if you flag you can be attacked by everyone. the other person does not need to flag to hit you.

that story I told above I did not have to flag to hit people who are the color red. as soon as someone is red you can target them and flagging up makes you red.

If you flag up, you cannot be attacked by default. A flagged up player is only attackable once they have done damage to you, unless you flag up as well when you see them.
A red player (aka below 0 Karma) can be attacked by anyone, no matter if they did damage yet or not. That is the difference. Flagging up does not automatically reduce your karma, and it doesnt make you an "enemy" until you actually harm someone.

We made several posts about this problem or when ppl just kill boss alts for no reason even after server swapp or when you lifeskill they hunt you down. But pa dosen't care since pvp fanatics are actually using forums and the rest are not. But don't worry actually open world pvp is dead (like pvp in general) you just encountered one of the remaining 50 ppl who likes to go red for no reason and waste your time. Try other spots like under gyffin, quinthill, use marni realm untill you can grind higher ap spots. They are kinda avoid darkseeker, d2 olun or any higher ap spots ingame. Also karmabombing is still a usefull tool against ppl like this.

Honglim is good for reds for multiple reasons, and it makes silver.

You don't have to like it, but the reasons are valid.

As for calling backup or fights being fair...

Depends on the red, but you'll never find blues who think about being fair to us.
