But if you're waiting for a kind of clear acknowledgment for your victory or your loss, you shouldn't have chosen BDO.
For the remaining argument, that only shows a superficial knowledge of BDO combat system. If you get caught by every random AOE launched around you, you should work on your position and protection rotation. Just saying.
Indeed. PvP in BDO is completely pointless. Also every aoe is kind of random. So kite. I will repeat - jump, immobilize, aoe, kite, repeat, repeat. You have to learn to play.

Yes, because even if it's not the first ime PA brings events based on a number of hours connected to the service by day (and all all these previous events were also designed to inflate connection times), this one is specific firstly because of the nature of rewards (even if it's a lottery), and secondly because of the connection times required to take full advantage of it (10 hours a day)
The fact that you, or I, like BDO more than LA, or the contrary, the fact that LA numbers impress you, or not, doesn't really matter much here.
Pearl Abyss is a company operating on a specific market, they know that the most anticipated product of the genre since years is about to be released in the biggest market, after having been very successful in its native country, published by one of the biggest companies ever created, with the biggest infrastructure and the some of best advertising relays. Of course PA will use countermeasures to try to keep market parts as much as they can, nothing surprizing, it's called operating on a competitive market.
Mind you that they also still have to support the development of 3 other products that are still not ready to be released yet, with only one source of income (2 if we count EvE), with much more expensive operating costs due to the studio expansion compared to the times where BDO was developed, and that these 3 said project still don't generate revenue yet.
Are you angry that PA boosted its numbers? All that needs to be said about Lost Dork is "click to move."

Seems you struggle with comprehensive reading. Read again what I wrote, and you may understand it, there is nothing controversial. I do not ask for PvP or PvE game, I ask for good massively multiplayer game.

Prove that 80% want PvE, I would be surprised if it was 8%. You are off by an order of magnitude at least. In fact since you are already downvoted 5 to 1 I would say that at the absolute best you can get is 16.6% even that is likely a stretch.

This forum had few polls, and all of them were around 50 to 50, wast one was 51 to 49. And they vanish after season servers. Yes, many people noticed that BDO will be disaster without serious ghanges. And dont forget that forum is not mesuring corect players opinion. Like with new UI stile. I was amased by this downgrade, evеryone in forum was against it. But devs stated that most of the players like it it.. And after little researche it was kinda true...
And dont forget about streamers. Many of them make content just becasue of OwPvP. Drama is money.
And this new feature about 1 hour personal server is another nail to the coffin of BDO servers. But the better desissions if they made one PvE channel.
My personal opinion - game should stay PvPvE, no Arsha no PvE servers so to be able to evoleve in the direction of its spirit. Now BDO lost a lot of needless desisions.
