It isn't worth replacing your normal Alchemy stone for the Kutum power stone.  The attack speed, AP, and Accuracy are worth more than the 2% resists and -30 DP on a charge basis.  As an added slap in the face it is a limited use item.

Yes it's trash like many other items, nothing new here.

If they want to have alchemy stones more active role, they should make them like trinkets in better games...

As long vell's heart is the only stone that gives sheet AP every other stone will have zero purpose in this game. PA's inability to see that this single item ruined the idea of using alchemy stones for an form of build diversity just shows there inability to improve on the game's already existing mechanics. And show there willingness to just throw features and items into the game without any planning as to how it will affect the game as a whole.

This isn't true, vell ain't the BIS alch stone.

It's the stone that the overwhelming mayority (99.99%) can afford.

I do 100% agree that the stone is totaly garbage and these are the reasons:

1. It is a limited in use item that can not be recharged. Totaly nonsense to get it because of this.

2. There is no actual usefull buff that the stone gives.

3. It has no sheet Dp or Ap and combined with no buffs, rather a periodical dp debuff for mobs, every other Alchemy Stone is better to use.

Kutum (together with Offin) is already one of the bosses with the least players doing it.

With a good drop on the upgraded version (like some kind of heart for your subweapon or something) PA could have changed that but they decided to give us just another reason to avoid this boss altogether.

The only reason now to do kutum is the chance at 100m bar drop and chance at tet kutum box. I agree though, the alchemy stone is actual hot garbage.

It's -10 DP to mobs for 30 seconds, not -30. It's even worse than you thought. :/

That's not Sheet-AP though.  They never actually addressed the AP-vs-Player damage calculations based on the 2 vastly different types of Additive AP [[Advantage]] versus Multiplicative AP.    It's just more proof of exactly what Vulp was tangenting off of as to why Nothing ever actually gets fixed in this game, and why EVERYTHING they do is just attempt after hare-brained attempt to pave over the same mistakes they keep making and calling it "New Content"

lol, you know when someone is low geared when they tell you, "That's not Sheet-AP though".

when you are over 315ap with kutum, you can start dropping "Sheet-AP" to get more hidden stats or DP, vell's heart is weaker than a Resplendent.

its still bis regardless of sheet ap. it's the other stats being offered that makes it the best stone.

you don't even have to go that far to find a better stone than vell either. a resplendent is better than vell at higher ap.
