1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

Thundergod Kutum First Impressions

So, after the first attempt with the Thundergod Kutum.

 

He still has the same issue regular Kutum has where He tunnels around in I frame for 30 seconds where everyone just stands in S block for the entire time.  So no change from regular Kutum but still annoying.

 

The "death cloud debuff" Tics to quickly and they seem to happen right after a big nuke that he does chunking 50-75% meaning that you have less than 5 seconds to get into the proper chamber to cleanse and maybe get the buff.  Since the room is so big and you're busy dancing you really don't have time to get to the chamber to utilize the mechanic.  I managed to get cleansed 5 times, died 6.  I don't know what the "big buff" is, but the cleansed buff just being a full heal was a little disappointing.

 

A lot of times you can't see what is going on because Kutum's AOEs are way to screen absorbing.  Haven't tried it with spell effects low yet as I wanted to see all the pretty effects.

 

The floating storm ball that goes around was a nice touch, I mistook it for the ancient weapons and tried to attack it, woopse on me.

 

I don't know if the ancient weapons spawned because they might have shown up at one of the 6 times that I died, which were all due ot the death cloud debuff.

 

The collapsing circle, which is a copy of regular Kutum's mechanic seems to have a small fix where if you just S block at the center you can block it, so either nice change or something I just noticed for the first time in 2 years of having a boss alt there, so good job there either way.

 

The big 50% HP AOE nuke he does had the Windup shortened over regular Kutum, good change.

 

My suggestion would be.

Limit the Kutum I-Frame tunnels to 10 seconds max, as anything longer is just annoying. 

Have the death cloud changed from straight damage to BSR wound instead that stacks all the way up to 100%, meaning death at the end still, the cleanse you get removes the wound and still heals like it does now so people have a chance to use the mechanic.  I would also shorten the time it takes to get to a death from 1m down to 20s if you switch it to a stacking BSR wound debuff.

Spawn more of the little Kutums more frequently, or make the little kutums slightly more tanky so they don't disappear almost instantly.

 

Otherwise, this is a rather decent Nightmare boss.

I haven't been able to do the boss yet. I appreciate you taking the time creating this post so I know what to expect on my first time. Very good feedback from how you put it all as well.

Everyone complains that the world boss are just straight zerg.  First time they actually implement a boss like those end bosses in WoW, complain city.

I think the only thing that needs to change here is the reward should FIT the fight.  Don't be a scrooge PA.  Give the players the a reward worthy of the fight.

Not sure how you got "Complain city" from my feedback and analysis of the new nighmare World boss.

 

The only one I think that was actually done wrong was Nouver, and that is only because the respawn location is so far away, fix that and he's fine.

He was talking about the community in general not you. People got their boss alt out there in +12 gear and complaining when they die 50 times in one go.
