How to balance this karma system in my opinion:
1. remove restrictions on what guilds can be dec'd; all guilds decable.
2. Decrease war dec timer to 5 min.
3. Increase number of members in guild that can be placed in protection mode (guild pays a fee to keep member protected daily).
4. No karma loss when attacking a guildless player.
5. bounty system rewards with item/gathering drop percentage that can be stored for later usuage instead of silver that can be exploited.
You can already declare on every guild in the game, you just need to know how.
Solution is simple, more Arsha servers, also, people keep saying that Arsha is packed but it's really not, I almost always find empty spots in SE/Elvia.
There could just be two types of servers, Arsha and Olvia, let people choose what they like, the current hybrid system is a failure.
PS: Cap the player max AP/DP to the area recommended AP/DP, so that skill-less people won't be able to gear check anymore, easy, game fixed, go learn your class in 1v1 (also remove rng resists and give ranked equalized 1v1 arenas, thank you very much).

+1 I have to agree. I've said the same thing many times. However you get major resistance from the PKers that just want to grief a disable live dummy. The fact is that the PKers don't want balance. They just want to grief with inpunity. I said let the Devs allow these griefers to have their way. I'll bet money that in under a year time with the PK griefers ruleset. BDO will be as dead as BnS. And players will also be over here asking the Devs to put bots in the PvP modes so they have something to fight.
Wanting pure pve, or wanting Arsha-like servers : same thing, you don't like BDO how it is.
BDO comes with a regulated owpvp on a great majority of servers. If you can't accept it, BDO is not for you.

Go play a Survival game on a progression PvP server that has no resets. EZ PZ
CAn we just make half the server pve half pvp already it how every other mmo solves this problem its an easy fix you can still keep arsha with drop rate buff for the geared players but let the grifers go grief each other and let the rest of us grind in peace.

You know what that is how other MMOs solved this problem. The issue is these PKers have like Top 5% gear and on extremely overtuned 1v1 classes. Since they are sadists, they derive great pleasure ruining other players fun. So spilting the servers will not make them happy. As they would be segregated from the decent folk. Which is not fun for them. That's why they fight so hard to get rid or make the Karma system irrelevent.
