Why do we still get notifications for the pvp tournament when we have notifications turned off? Shouldn't those competing already know via other means then spamming the rest of the community?

Obivously the target audience of those notifications isn't competitors.

They got popped when a competition was live in order to allow players watching it.

Furthermore, each match got advertised something like twice or three times, which is hardly spam.

Because you are happy about all these notifications and popups that pearl abyss have a love affair with is not indicative of how others perceive them. They are spam and annoying to many people and as such they should be able to be turned off  permanently.

In what universe I stated being happy about those notifications.

I stated neutral facts about them, please refrain from making uneducated assumptions.

Addressing said facts would be a plus but probably too high standard of discussing.

If you were not happy with them then you would have qualified your statement to include I also find them annoying and agree that we should be able to turn them off. You did not do so therefore the inference is that you approve of them.

Neutral stances are fine but what I see here is just another instance of you ignoring a person's valid complaint about something in your usaul whiteknighting for Pearl abyss. The notifications are spam, they are annoying and a person should be able to disable them if they want, no matter who pearl abyss targeted audience is especially  when that targeted audience have expressed their annoyance.

My personal opinion about notification is disliking them, however as a grown adult, I can still have a rational thought process on the matter instead of sitting on my ass and cry and call names anyone who dares using their brain instead of joining me crying rivers.

Furthermore, as I demonstrated and as you failed to prove me wrong, parts of said complaint is invalid, but hey why use reason and facts when you can simply dismiss any argument you don't like with tribal level of defaming.

Lastly, since your account is from 2019 you also are missing the historical context which has been first 2 years since 2016 from the community whining about how Pearl Abyss doesn't communicate with its playerbase. Seeing people complaining now about how they supposedly communicate too much is both sad and hilarious at the same time.

Fact One: the popups ARE spam for many people.

Fact Two: the popups ARE annoying for many people.

Fact Three: the popups SHOULD be able to be turned off by any person that is annoyed by them.
Fact Four: you cannot defend the indefensible.

Fact Five: they can put these notifications in the log in page and the steam bdo start page. If they absolutely have to put them in game they should allow them to be disabled by those who prefer their immersion is not lost.

None of your statements are facts, they are questionable opinions. And none of those address any of the points you quoted.
