Actually they are both the exact same thing.  What I mentioned is just a more simple version of an unintended interaction.

Also, you have Players who can teach you better than any Dev can, use the community resources like Youtube and search your class or look on Twitch for said class like was suggested here.

Your response of

was uncalled for.  Someone tried to help you, and you just spat in their face.  I tried to explain why what you were asking for wasn't possible and you just wanted to argue.  I highly doubt you could learn from an in game tutorial on all the combos with your "I know better and I'm not going to listen" attitude.

Bugs and unintended mechanics are most definitely not the same as something that was purposefully designed and implemented into the game.

And yes I did basically tell him to screw off because he gave a cocky know it all response. I'm not sure if either of you understand what I'm proposing here but I'm not asking the game to teach you over players. Players create combos, players read combos, and they practice said combos. All I'm asking is a built in system that displays on screen key prompts to show you which buttons to press for abilities in a combo that you have determined. This is way better and more user friendly than having to sit there trying to memorize everything by repeatedly opening up the PLAYER MADE combo guide and then the skill menu to look over the buttons over and over again.

As I said the "player made combos" are not something BDO intended, they are actually bugs and unintended skill interactions.

It may be a problem that you are not being clear in your request.  Are you asking for a way to set your own teaching tool in game, like what shows up during the awakening quest when the black spirit is "teaching" you C swapping?

I got news for you, there are ways you can do this.  If you have a second monitor, open up a note pad and type in the combos you want to perform on that notepad and try them out, see what works what doesn't work, then if they work go to a the practice dummy in BA and practice on them.  Or what you can do is use this really old school thing that people used forever before they started doing dual monitors, you get this thing that is made from crushed up trees called paper, then you get this other stick like thing with a soft mineral shoved inside most often graphite, they call it a pencil.  You then use the pencil thing to make marks on that paper thing, to remind you of what key combos you want to try.   I know it's a very wierd concept, but maybe you could try that.

What ever you see in the skills tool tip are the intended interaction of skills the developers wanted to make (and even then, they updated some of the skills description after players found out on special mechanics they have like warrior linger crit buff).

So as werbs and peace rightfully said, most of the skills flows, interactions or "secret/hidden" mechanics are actually unknown to the developers because they were not intended, but found out by players with theories, trial and error and some accidents that resulted in what we have now.

And so, ill respectfully suggest you to check YouTube class guides, ask guild mates that mastered said class or as a last resort - check the class discord guides (do not go to deep there with the class discussion channel, especially in the tamer and zerk discords - my personal advice).

Good luck!

How about instead of PA setting combos, you have an npc that allows you to input your own combo/copy paste someone elses combo in and let you save that as something you want to practice, and you can go to the npc to let you generate the combo guide similar to when you initially get awakening skills?

Well we're making progress as you now seem to understand what I was trying to get across. Yes I'm referring to a system similar to the awakening quest key prompts but where you choose the chain of abilities that you wish to practice. The thing I don't understand though is why you feel it's necessarry to shut down this QOL idea for no legitimate reason outside of wanting to be an elitist. This would help out with learning, regardless of the play time of the individual using the system. Literally no negatives.

This is what I specifically meant in the post but somehow people misunderstood everything. Not sure if I needed to word it better or not.

Rather than it being a misunderstanding, the original post reads as if the source of these combos are from PA themselves rather than crowdsourced which justifies the posts that followed. The concept it's good, but if PA is the one that's putting the combos in then you can bet no one that actually plays the game will have any expectation for something that is bound to be dead on arrival.

With that clarified though, we can probably even just copy paste the beauty album and convert it to a class combo generator thing that people can upload their combos to and  you can use maybe a new npc in battle arena to practice combos would be a good addition to the game.
