A game should be fun for everyone playing it, which is why pvp should ALWAYS be opt-in. Griefing is only fun for the griefer and certainly not for the person minding their own business. This game would be amazing if not for world pvp. I had to stop playing and stop spending money on it; it just stopped being worth all the frustration caused by other players with nothing better to do. The worst part about the subject is people will try to call it "creating content", which is certainly not true for both parties. Imagine if someone who plays mainly for pvp was randomly, without warning, put in a dungeon they have to complete, totally interrupting what they WANT to do. And, as in real life, if the current economy would change if quality of life changes are made, then the economy NEEDS to change with them.

In the end, it is a business designed to make money. Paying customers are literally being chased away from playing by griefing players and a game system that caters to them.

One post, no replies, unlinked account, crying about OWPvP.  I wonder which "wE nEeD pVe SeRvErS" troll this is, that just got "Sent on a Business trip" and is trying to just troll this topic for the 500th time.

I don't PVP and have been killed multiple times by PVP's mainly between Heidel and Velia while AFK on a horse, but that's my own fault for not paying attention on the PVP highway. 

I don't agree with PVP being opt-in, that would cause more issues if you have a problem with PVP then just switch servers, it's harder to do if you have a guild mission in that area, but the best option is to change spots. 

If you don't want to change servers and still have issues then BDO isn't for you. 

griefing genrally means a player in an undecable guild that comes to your grind spot and start grinding mobs in your rotation, half the time new die to "griefers"in this game is becasue a new player come into there rotation and start killing there mobs ruining there rotation and wasting there loot scroll. the punishment for being negative karma in this game is so brutal you almost cant have your main character as perma red.

just make sure before you grind your not in some1 elses rotation and if it is just a red player being a dick just type something in server chat i garantee ppl will come farm them for fun becasue if they die they can lose xp crystals even have gear downgrade and bdo players are toxic like that.
