Devs developed TP "BDO-style" : it's called Magnus.
Devs developed pure pve "BDO-style", twice already : it's called seasons servers and Marni's Realms.

Yes, but what I mean is that it's impossible to progress by PvP only.
In the open world, even if you PvP for a spot, the ressources eventually come from the mobs themselves. What you actually do is pushing away concurrence on finite ressources with PvP to maximize your PvE gains, where the real wealth comes from. It's not a full loot gain so just killing the player doesn't directly increase your wealth by taking their belongings.
Regarding RBF, yes you can get some money, XP and SP, energy and even some ancien spirit dust with the dailies, but these gains are so marginal compared to what you can make in PvE that you play this mode for sports / fun mainly, not as a viable progression path. Morevoer, the gear the strongest players use to perform in RBF was acquired by hours of grinding in PvE mainly, with lifeskills on the side, not by playing RBF by itself.
Long story short, you can make the choice of not engaging in PvP in BDO, but you cannot skip PvE, even if your final objective is actually fighting against other players (AOS aside, as explained in my previous post).
If we talk about choises. You can do many things. You can only PvE, you can only lifeskill, you can PK. And Yes you can make only PvP with zero PvE - RBF on season char. And let me rimind you that at one point RBF gived more silver than farming, specialy if you had bad class at PvE. If is what you like.
But Yes BDO idea is PvPve. The game concept is coexistence of all of that. The main problem is that some people dont like PvP and want it removed no matter the cost. The sad part is that those people dont care mucch about PvE that hate much PvP. So their suggestion are harmfull for the game as PvPvE.
Its good that devs are holding their idea for the game as what we(most of us) leke it to be.

Why would you fish in a unsafe zone or train horses in a unsafe zone?
As a horse trainer, I can tell you -
We try not to, but bdo has a ton of connection issues that are usually server side small disruption which leads us to get off our horses for the rest of the night. Now, after the newer autopath changes, a lot of trainers cannot even use our autopaths in safezone anymore. Even moving to low density places like duvencrune are no longer an option with the rates of disconnects we experience. This leaves us with the option of outside safe zones, where the density is nearly nonexistant + no npc's - aka a place that doesn't cause disconnect every 20 minutes.
Some of us have moved to level 49 alts, yes, but to expect us to swap our high-level training via money coupon to another character when a lot of us nodewar (help us lower repair fort timer) is a bit ridiculous.
And all this to say we can't spare one server to afk on? You can still grind. NA has 15+ servers, PvPers don't need all of them.

Recommend posting to fix horse training overnight, i never had any issues with it unless i went out of town tbvh
Edit: so a server without mobs or anything like that for PvE players would suite yous fine that would mean yous would only be able to afk on said channel with no pvp and no mobs also no resources also no npcs exception of a stable keeper

With all the servers PVP is getting. I don't see a problem if the community wants 1-2 PVE / Life Skill servers for horse training, fishing, gathering, and hunting. I don't mind. But come on Titan! Your "Edit" sounds pretty out of context and really negative. Also, there has been post on PVP side wanting to kick PVE / Life Skillers.

You are playing a PvX game.
Also yes because the servers become unstable. You have seasons.You also have marnis realm. Still complain. You would also still complain if you got these servers an then be asking why yous dont get node war medals. Or the jin special evasion crystals or any other nodewar related resource. The list would just keep growing then what happens the game wont be BDO anymore.
