When I minimize the game to tray the game now most of the time keeps using full memory usage (2+GB) while it used to be lowered by 1GB. This negates the advantage of minimizing the game comepletely and I can't do a lot of other stuff on the PC while the game still runs at full memory and proccessing power while being minimized.

The point of minimalizing ain't the reduced memory useage, but the fact that it doesn't use yoru GPU, and even the CPU load is lower.

You are wrong. Normally when the game is minimized to tray the memory usage drops down to 1GB/1.5GB at the spot I always train my horses. Lately the game kept on running at +3GB while minimized, thats not normal behaviour.

Anywho, I saw an other bug report made about 'handles' that causes a memory leak and I think the issue is linked to that. Last days I had no problem with it anymore so I guess they fixed it.

My BDO client always uses the same amount of RAM, regardless if it's minimized or not.

PlasticDK also isn't wrong about CPU and GPU consumption, since this is the main reason why would most people want to minimize game for afk activities. When BDO is running it's using about 180W from my GPU and my CPU consumption goes from 20W to around 70W. So I'm using over 200W while playing this game. But when it's minimized, it's barely using anything.

In my case RAM is not a problem since I have 32GB of it, and never goes above 20GB usage in total.

And handle leaks aren't fixed yet ... not sure if that will ever get PA's attention.
