Can anyone explain any possible reasoning behind not being able to do Imperial Cooking when your character is tagged? Because I can't think of any valid reason...
Hello
I ASSUME that this was implemented back when trading was kind of profitable to prevent abuse. Produce crates in Grana and transport them to Valencia (for example). On the way there you (or your horse) could die in PvP or because of the bandits and loose your crates. By tagging and switching chars you could avoid loosing them, reach your destination, switch chars again and trade them in. Because of that trading with tagged chars is not allowed.
And Imperial Trading is Trading i guess...
Have a nice day

this mechanic has been requested to be changed, tag system was created before imperial delivery become popular, let tag character exchange trade goods except for player crafted crates, trading lifeskill is already extremely underwhelmed compares to any other lifeskill, we should encourage players to tag to trade since the profit margin is laughable in the first place.
just like the npc that does cooking turn ins having a limited amount that can be turned in every 3 hrs this is the stupidist thing in bdo imo cant think of a single reason why this is capped our char daily amount is already capped

I feel your pain. Cooking, as a lifeskill, is already a massively diluted market and this doesn't help. I actually switched lifeskills in an effort to combat this. Unfortionately, as someone who went quite hard into alchemy, I never have an issue with turn-ins, my issues are with the bottlenecks from materials. Seems like parts of this system could use some serious reworks.
