Are we going to be able to use our launcher account over steam after the transfer or are you going to keep this obviously bad option behind the wall?

Unfortunately, due a difference in systems, you will not be able to transfer between web-client and Steam clients, or vice versa. This will remain unchanged as before.

Just to clarify this, their "system difference" means acutally steam ToS which prohibits them from doing so and if they allowed people to migrate like this, valve could rewoke their abiltiy to sell over steam.

Excuse me, but this is something that other developers already fixed by doing an easy and optimal change on steam, making it launch the game launcher by itself and not the game with a linked ID from steam.

I hope pearl abyss would consider something like this since many folks want out of Steam.

Why's this? Aside from the 30% price hike in pearls caused by Steam's 30% cut in sales.

After the migration of computer platforms, PA might make the consideration of having steam accounts migrate too. 

Cross your fingers and hope for the best. 

I wish I could unlink my BDO account from steam. Then I'll be able to sell it. I'm guessing that's the reason they don't allows to transfer our steam accounts into official BDO accounts.
