HELP-- SHIFT button doesnt activate skills

so any skill that needs SHIFT will not activate
IE my charges SHIFT + WASD do not charge me int hat dir
knee hammer SHIFT + LMB does nothing
my upper cut into ground pound-- SHIFT + Q does nothing
whats goign on? Obviously my SHIFT IS WORKING

Did you lock them? Try re-mapping your keys? Use a skill set different from the one you saved? Did you learn it?

yes ive learned it i cant even dash, which is given to u at start and is supposed to be SHIFT + DIRECTION

what is LOCK? and where is that?
as far a remapping keys- i havent done that-- BUT if a skill wnats me to use SHIFT, how do i remap that?

If you press K and open your skill tree, you can hover over your skills and some will have a tiny Lock icon to the bottom right.

Have you tried using Shift in other situations ingame to make sure it works?
Like in Chat or assigning it to an action (in the options).
BTW: if you have reassigned the Sprint function to a different key, all other functions which use Shift are assigned to this key.
So make sure Shift is set for Sprint.

yes ive asked this quetion in chat in game ( to bueller like silence) and typed in all caps (which.. uses SHIFT)

Esc -> Cog wheel (settings) -> Interface settings -> Action Hotkeys -. make sure that Moving sprint moving sprint/special tab still has Shift as the key bind

Make sure skills aren't locked in the skill tree, you'll see a little lock on the skills.
Make sure the shift is bound to the right key in the game settings
Make sure your keyboard isn't 'ghosting'
Shift key could be dying?
Could be input lag?
Make sure 'sticky keys' is off in window's keyboard settings. (not sure if it could be the cause though)
If its the game only, try running a repair on it
Could try deleting and reinstalling your keyboard driver
Make sure you're not shocking your keyboard (Had times where I had to unplug/plug my keyboard back in because it felt like it wasn't reading keys right. Also have had to do the same with my headset after shocking it because I lost sound.)
