Now that PA is self-publishing, I was hoping we could revisit this topic.
Previously PA allocated Southern Africa to the Turkish MENA region.

This was very unfortunate for players in South Africa and Mauritius, as they speak english and french respectively.

There are still plenty of players from these regions that would love to play on Europe and refuse to play on MENA.

Thanks to the SEACOM cable that connects directly from the coast of Africa to Amsterdam, the latency from South Africa to Europe is not bad at all.

I have already experienced playing on European servers from South Africa as it was not blocked during closed alpha, and I had 0 issues. There's really no reason to keep region lock in place for Southern Africa, it doesn't even geographically fall in the region of "Middle East and Northern Africa" in the first place.
