I'm just used to drawing people in calm static poses, it was a new difficult experience for me to try to draw something in motion, and I thought I'd try to make it look like she started slipping out of the shoe. Apparently I dn't succeed heheh) But that's what I had in mind from the very beginning) it just apparently turned out badly to portray this effect, I promise to think through such moments better next time!
When I looked at it, that's the effect I interpreted, it looked like it was slipping off because she was jumping/m-air. Looks good to me! I'd say most "splash arts" type of things usually don't have that level of detail so people aren't used to seeing that kind of thing.

You're on the right track! that is what I thought when I saw it. I think the off putting part is that the foot is slightly out of focus (motion blur) but the shoe is in sharp focus. (not moving). If you blured the shoe a bit (gave it motion) it would come together nicely!!!!
