Not only do you constantly crash in the Magnus but when you do, you are teleported to outside the well you originally came as opposed to the destination you were trying to reach. Thus, you have to go through the cutscenes again and possibly crash again. My record is crashing to desktop 5 times in a row going from Altinova to the Blood Wolf Settlement.
They should also fix the render distance bug.
No! Hell, no! Cut the streamlining, please. Breaking the immersion to the point where one of the game's selling points will follow in the steps of graphic fidelity for the sake of convenience.
They said they want to expand on the whole Magnus system, so give'em time to do just that. I'd rather go through 4+ loading screens than having a random popup at the well asking me if I wanna jump in or teleport to another game.
On the other topics, though. Maybe they could fix the constant crash to desktop during loading screens (as they happen outside of the Magnus too, when switching characters) and maybe they could stop cheesing the visual aspect of the game. Cus you see, they've been streamlining too, just as you want more streamlined. It's why the game looks like a turd...

Fix the crashing.
I checked the logs before and it seems to be related to some memory related issue. Maybe there's a x86 vs x64 conflict somewhere or there's an overflow of information or that memory isn't correctly being cleared. It's most likely memory released. If they fix it they can fix so many issues with the game.
Question... Does this game crash while doing character select on console too or is it just a PC thing?
Edit: Not saying OP has a bad idea, in fact I upvoted it. I just think that they should really focus on fixing the crashing issue but this could be an easy to implement fix for those especially who don't have a NVME drive and well, let's face it, 2 load screens of waiting isn't exactly fun.

That doesn't change the fact that they should fix it instead of having to keep adding these band-aids.
People who ask for easier fast travel don't know why it was made the way it is!
It's made a multiple step function with loading screen and cut scenes so it will not replace the normal traveling by horse!
If they had made it a real fast travel, horses would become obsolete!
So fixing the loading screen crashes some are having? Yes.
But reducing the travel time? a big NO!
BTW: I don't know what everyone is talking about, because I only have 1 loading screen (after I selected the destination in the magnus).
