Barter: Ship Material

Barter: Ship Material

 

To try and lower the difficulty of preparing for the Great Expedition, we devised a system to upgrade your ship all the way from a Bartali Sailboat to an Epheria Carrack. However, we understand that gathering the necessary materials to upgrade your ship is still difficult for many of you. Therefore we have decided to add a separate "ship material barter" system to the existing bartering system.

In this new system, materials to upgrade ships have been separated out from other sea trade goods. These materials include those needed for an Epheria Caravel or Epheria Carrack, as well as items needed for blue grade Epheria Carrack gear. You can refresh these ship material barters separately from the others via the new "Ship Material Refresh" function, and even if you already have your dream ship you can still use this function and watch your Crow Coins pile up.

Bartering can be a break from the usual to make some profit out at sea if you are willing to brave the rough waters of the Great Ocean. That is why we wanted to minimize any negative impact this new system will have on those of you who enjoy bartering, and thus experimented on the Global Lab to see how a new system will impact both hardcore and casual barters and their profits. We also made Epheria Carrack materials appear more frequently than other materials so that Epheria Caravel and Epheria Frigate owners can get the materials they need faster to get an Epheria Carrack.

  •  

  • Due to the increasing demand for materials to upgrade ships, the Crow Merchants Guild will now provide separate bartering opportunities for them, called "ship material barter."

    • However, there will be some exceptions for certain ship upgrade materials. Please consult the chart below for more details.

    • A separate "Ship Material Refresh" function has been added to the existing Barter Refresh system.

      • You can use the "Ship Material Refresh" function twice a day.

      • When you use the "Ship Material Refresh" function, there is a small chance that you will uncover all the possible barters you can make for Crow Coins at every island. You can use Crow Coins to barter any Level 2 to 5 sea trade goods.

    • During ship material barter, you will get material for upgrading a ship. You may also get materials to enhance ships as well as treasures.

    • The Accumulated Number of Exchanges needed to barter for the following items will drastically decrease when using ship material barter.

  • Everyday at 06:00 UTC, your barter refresh points will be reset to 100.

  • If you have an active Value Pack, you can recover 50 extra barter refresh points.
