Dont assume i did something wrong just because in general the drop rate is low. Getting 20-30/h is probably with loot scrolls. I tested it solo without loot scroll to see the difference of the drop rate ( cause thats the point of testing ).. i used a Valor with blue cannons +10 with 160% speed if that helps. I grind almost as fast as 2 "unexperienced" carracks with green gear at this point so doing it solo or duo is not the problem here.. I could accept the rng factor if i had at least 5-6 scales/ hour. Getting none.. is a joke. 

I will repeat especially for you: if 20 give me nothing, even with +50% drop rate and I need 1600, logic and probability says: it's not worth it and should be changed.

I know players who have 50k+ barters and still green carrack gear. This is the best proof that the system is working badly.

You created your account in 2016 and never experienced bad luck with BDO in half a decade ? Sounds totally credible.

There are plenty of positive reports on trusty discords such as lifeskill and sailing ones, just admit you experienced bad luck and move on.

If you put 20 as a samplesize and probability in the same sentence, you have no clue what you're talking about.

The amount of barters done is independant of the goal of said barterer as Asdasdfas rightfully pointed out, which further proves you have no clue what you're talking about.
 

Of course i experienced bad rng countless times (im complimented by the fact you took time to check my account's history). Thats not what i said... IF it was bad rng.. i would at least get 5-6 scales. Getting NONE its a different story... low drop rate + bad rng is a bad combo of course.

What makes you think during bad RNG rolls you should get any guaranteed scales, what is the basis of such a theory ? Do you have any reliable survey from a significant number of players reporting that during their whole crocs hunting career they always came back with at least some scales after an hour spent ?

My personal experience coming from discussing with guildies, friends and reliable players from trusted discords, is that everyones who do crocs a decent number of times experiences coming back with no scales after an hour.

My point exactly. Im not talking about bad rng ( actually you did that ). Im talking about low drop rates. That is the topic of the post.  Most people experience low drop rates and with the recent changes.. i didnt notice any difference.

You completely missed the point: I'm not talking about reports post patch, my sources grind crocs since they are a thing. And every one reports coming back with no scales from time to time. Adding 50% to the drop rate is very unlikey to make to flip to guaranteed loot every hour.

Furthermore, the experience and reports represent months and months of sample size. Your report is based on a single hour.

Additionally, I'm still waiting for your to substanciate your theory about supposed guaranteed drops.

Im not assuming, that was an actual question. How efficient are you? Like in terms of ur nedian count in that hour

Do you use agris? It affects drop rate amount too

Cos im going croc quite often and i never had zero drops. It is a really bad rng scenario and i dont think it is a reoccurring thing

Yes i always do use agris. I made tests without scroll with agris and with kama buff. Usually i get an average of ~10 scales without loot scroll. With scroll its a different story of course. Today with double loot scroll i got around 60 scales and i consider it also rng carried. I wasnt expecting a huge difference after patch tbh but at the point i made the post the drop rate was really bad as you can imagine and it was a question i had to see if others had similar experience.
