Let me try to frame the experience of doing the Transmuted Kzarka quest.
- Kzarka Spawns
- Flails around a bit during which the timer is going, but he's immune to damage
- Failing stops and damage can be given to him
- AoEs begin
- AoEs all have identical "tells"
- 1 Shot AoE pulls you into the floor
- You die
- You use a Tear to resurrect
- Another AoE kills you
- You use a Tear to resurrect
- Another AoE kills you
- You use a Tear to resurrect
- The Witch in the Party tries to Resurrect the party but you screwed over Witch resurrection mechanics by lazy convoluted nonsense mechanics to resurrect someone with her resurrect skill. Seriously raises the question if you developers have ever played an MMO before. Even a ground target AoE resurrect would be better than "Medical Kit by another name" crap.
- You die
- Witch dies
- Party dies
- You use a Tear
- You everyone gets sucked into the floor
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat - i'm actually typing all these repeats because it's just like playing the game to do this
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat - you tired of reading this yet?
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat - because this is what it is like to "play" the Kzarka fight
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat - it sucks
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat
- repeat - time runs out
You either killed it by RNG luck of rezzing at the right time
or
- repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, ...
Boy, that was some fun! I think I'll do that... again... never.
I hope this isn't a foreshadowing of your future dungeon content because I would like to example Elite Dangerous: Odyssey and World of Warcraft vs. Final Fantasy XIV for how this kind crap game design and development effort turns out. Don't become like the Westerners. Everything they make or have for an idea is garbage now. Worse than garbage. Self destructive. Don't become like them. Fix this stuff.
Yeah it's a pretty low quality "content", but it was expected.
It's not that hard though. It's just a gear check.
holy shit l2p, its disgusting how bad you are.
I agree its pretty shitty... I guess you need 300+ AP and like 400 DP to do them :/
Our party with ranger/witch/mystic each 270+ AP and 310+ DP struggled really hard on just the first one è.é
I mean... The attacks are pretty predictable yeah, but once you miss step you're pretty much done for @.@

Wasn't it advertised as 280AP+ on the main webpage?
Also it's oneshot regardless of DP, just use tears.
Yes, as your title states, A Modicum of Effort Would Be Appreciated - from you.
How hard is it to learn the literal 1 mechanic this boss has? It even warns you when it does the 1 shot. You literally just need to be able to read to not die.

how much gear check? im 298/295/401 awaken witch and i still havent been able to kill lvl5
to follow up on this, i aggree. the content was meh, but the fact that you make it way easier for certain classes over others is bulshit. when you see guildies killing the level 5 kzarka with 260 ap as a striker or another melee class, while as an awaken witch, with over half your abilities requiring cast times, that results in you automatically getting stuck in a knockdown circle, which the supper armor is fucking useless for. Its now 2023, 298/295/401 gear, using priest attack buff, cron meal and frenzy draugth, and the best i ever got him down to was 5% once. fix the fucking aoe knockdown ability form being used back to back , or 3 times in a rown followed by his 1 shot mechanic. we all know how to avoid it, but when this happens multiple times in the 7 mins, you lose 3 mins times. HOW FUCKIGN FUN IS IT TO HAVE TO STAY IN THE CORNER AND WATCH THE CLOCK RUN OUT over and over and over and over.
