Main quest line decides to skip to level 56 quests after you talk to the alchemists daughter. Unbelievable. Everybody in server chat has the same problem.

it doesn't even make any sense. Why would you even want to skip the main quest line? You get SP and season pass rewards from it. 

Problem is, a lot of players (like 90%) just spam R too rush the season pass / adventure, like anything else. And between us and this, there is a quest with no advertissement about what it gonna do like "are you sure want to skip all the main quest + season pass gift".

This is really bad designed for a opening season.
Solution is (by a [GM Cohen] in game :

"If you skipped the main quest, you will not be able to do the "kill Giath" Season Pass Challenge for now. Follow the Fughars Memorandum quest chain, once that is finished you are eligible for all Season Rewards."

apparently we were given an option to skip the main quests and there's no way to reverse it. Which is ridiculous. And of course I can't remake my character with the same name and start over cuz it takes a day for it to be deleted. Why would there not be an option to go back to doing the main quests? Obviously if you add something like that unexpectedly to the game that people are already used to, people are going to click on it on accident and want to revert back to doing the main quest line. This is such a fundamental piece of the game it's like someone just thought about this in the last 2 minutes and threw it in there.

yeah and this is a very obvious outcome. Anybody who has played this game for even a few months would have been able to guess what would happen if you make game breaking decisions like this.

i don't understand why they chose alustin as the npc to enable this quest series. alustin has a quest about cron castle knowledge that autocompletes when you press R. the game conditioned us over the course of 22 characters to spam R at alustin, and if you do it now, it just escalates into your face.

i wonder who asked for this. are people not interested in permanent enhancement chance, 30k title and 300 failstacks?

You also miss out on a lot (all) the stones reqired to enhance your naru gear from the main quest line. AND the quest from fulgar is not there

 The lead team who agreed is a good decision to implement this must be a rookie. Grats you made some people the day verry "Happy"

Now I have to wait 24 hours to delete the character and ruied my free time.

Skipping is the least of the problems.

The follow-up quest from Fughar lets you open boxes every few levels, which also contain the blackstones.

Well... I skipped the story quest, accepted a quest from Fughar, figured eh? Where is my main story - cancelled the quest from Fughar and now I can't do anything, I'm level 47 with +5 Naru main hand weapon and armor. Standing around in Velia, contacted customer support where I will probably get an answer in 2 months.

When I delete my character everything is gone, costumes and accessories. Also no solution although Pearl Abyss would probably be happy about that.

Who ever is responable for this new 'cluster ****' at PA needs to be fired. If you skipped main questline and were automatically credited with all rewards or at least auto completed all Seasonal Quest within the Main Questline you skipped then maybe fine. But to randomly inject a "skip all quest" in a fashon where experianced players who have done these quest 20 times already with other characters and just spam through the pointless storyline is stupid. I have two choices now. Delete this seasonal character and start over wasting about $60 bucks in character bound Pearl items or continue on locking out all rewards from Main Questline and again wasting about $30 in Pearl items. Either way I am screwed.

Unless PA addresses their error here and compenstaes us properly, I hope PA enjoyed my recharge this morning as it is the last recharge I will ever be making for this game now.
