The same happened to me as well. And I don't want to delete my char either because of the bound items. I'll guess we have to wait and play something else or do afk training. :D What a summer season this will be. :D

Wait so.. For a caphra bundle from black spirit board which says you get 5 caphra's you get a notification "Are you sure to open?" but for a quest that skips you season rewards and all other things theyre like "Ok, done!"? ....... & obviously no one read a quest they been redoing for years. 

So I redid the steps on my new Corsair character (not season character).. I couldnt find any skip main questline option at Alustin or Eileen. I have now passed the quest that I lost on my season character and can continue. Are u sure this option is really there? I carefully read all options since I talked to the guard in Velia because I wanted to screenshot it to warn guildies. 

No, guys, you don't realize, they f****d up in coding the questline: the trigger is off by a quest.

There is no warning when you accept the quest from Alustin, I accepted the first quest on the chain and then when Fughar gives you [Special Growth] Following in His footsteps there is this very yellow warining:

and was at this point that I stoppend and rejected, because I wanted to play the class and learn it while playing the main questline...

Too bad that the deletion of the main questline is applied when you get the first quest and not at Fughar's warning...so now I'm in limbo:

I'll be more than happy to recreate the seasonal character, but I used up an inventory expansion item and I have bound the cosmetics earrings...and I don't wanna lose that...

The option to skip is only for seasonal characters, you cannot skip with a "normal" character as stated in the patch notes:

Ok I managed to read in patch notes that its a 1 per season character per family thing and therefor I didnt get it on my corsair character. 
Even when I read patchnotes, I missed about this.. I found it when I searched for "main" with Cntr+F

This was the dumbest and most annoying skip i've ever seen, why the heck would they put it on a "normal" Quest NPC?
Should have been on Fughar or someone else so the standard "R" spam quest progressing wouldn't trigger it.

Worst part is that i've already used the stupid Black Season Pass rewards on this character so really dont wanna delete it and loose those. Not to mention that i've used other Premium items on him :S

If you don't see any quests before Valencia in your Quest log, you have accepted the simplified quest from Alustin's daughter. Look in your Inventory for the book with the Fugar Quest, Right-click the book, accept the quest, it will complete according to your reached levels. Call the black spirit, turn it in and find the new book in your inventory. Rinse and repeat. You WILL get all the Season Pass rewards, talkalk to the black spirit after book 11, to get them!

NB: You will get the inventory slots and enhancement stones and stuff, but less when you would be getting in the main quest line. 

But you will skip the main questline till Valencia/Drieghan completely and still get the necessary rewards to be up and running with this char.
