Im sure there are some whales who will buy it but I think overall this greed will be loss in profit for them. None of my guildies will buy this.

I'm going to take a guess and say it has to do with world events. As the world comes out of the pandemic, the US recovered the quickest financially and consumer demand increased by 21% over the rest of the world. In the past year, the US governments (between State and Federal)  released several stimulus checks to the population and we've also had a national minimum wage increase that went from 7.50$ an hour to 10.50$ an hour. (This process developed over two years.)  As a side note, I can't speak for EU's economic recovery, but I'm sure there are factors there too with 1st world country monetary decisions. 

So... yeah. Inflation as the rest of the world scrambles to benefit from the wealth. 

I'm pretty sure the 10.50 thing is wrong. As a family relative tried to get a new job that only wanted to pay them 9 an hour. This was for a position in retail. It's really disappointing that they raised the price. This is my first seasonal character and I was actually considering getting the pass....not for 30 dollars tho. Especially since I can't seem to collect the rewards on my character anyway. Seeing as I'm on the quest boost route. Why they’d make the season rewards tied to the main quest, then offer a quest boost route, which you can easily pick up by mistake. When you can only have 1 seasonal character at a time...It's a mess.

*Edit: Apparently you can still get seasonal rewards from Black Spirit after completing book 11! You still get less Black Stones (and Inventory spaces!?) tho.

they always do the same thing, they push it and push it and push it untill it breaks, thats why BDO is in the state its in.

it has to do with greed, as simple as that.

I actually think many said no to BS pass this time, but I really don't have numbers on it besides of what I seen in general chat the post. 

I also passed this time, I mean you can get a whole new game for that price...

As stated at release in early 2016, shop prices are way to high and not reasonable. This huge increase in pass price (double price no less) isn't acceptable, especially because rewards are about same as previous seasons pass at half the current price.

Since I run an XL community, you potentially lost 100 battle pass sales because of this questionnable move.
