As much as i am a critic of this game, this one time i gotta give it to PA, it took them 5 years but they finally listened to us and removed the obligation of eating up all the main quest line just to get some inv slots and acces to valencia and kama quest substituting it with the new special growth feature, GOOD JOB, and i hope you keep listening to the player base if at least a little.

That's just a temporary thing for the Summer Season and only limited to one character. If you want to level another one - too bad. Better get that R key ready. While I do appreciate it I wouldn't get too hyped about it.

Whining is what gets things changed. What do you think got them to try this new leveling method to begin with (assuming they listen to the community)?

You have to grind monsters instead of turning in quests, but with a few scrolls and all the season boosts running right now you can get 56 in an hour or less pretty easily.

"Whinning" as you call it is called player feedback. You should try it instead of blindly defending their every action. Both good and bad threads about the game is feedback they can use to better improve the game. The community may be divided on certain topics but PA is an amateur game company only being around for what? 10 years? Letting them know how we feel (constructively) is how they learn to improve.
Unfortunately story skipping is only for one chracter for the season but hopefully we'll see them implement this permanently. Even on a first run the story and delivery of said story is atrociously boring and uninviting compared to other games (they are working on making it better though) so hopefully 1. The story / immersion of reading the story becomes more interesting and 2. Once you clear it, you don't have to do it again.
Time will tell
You even defined feedback yourself which is constructively letting PA know. Whining isn't constructive.
Additionally, you either a big fat liar or haven't paid any attention since 2016 because I certainly not "blindly defend their every action".

Well the most obvious one is missing out on the story. It seems everytime I complete the main quest with a new character they've tweaked/changed some things. I've been pleasantly surprised with all the changes/additions this time through thus far.
Also, there is the missed contribution, and missed quest completion counting towards Rulupee's Journal Log. I believe sometimes new knowledge is able to be gained too when they tweak the main storyline.
I'm sure there are other things, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
Finally, I think PA do listen to players. I believe there are plenty of examples of feature implementation (or removal) based on feedback. Just two that come to mind are the armour outfits (character-based) and pets (family-based) that are rewarded upon completion of the main questline in a region.
