I still use magic tools when I gather but I support your request to be able to do something else with them. No doubt there are many players with high lifeskill levels using manos tools that have heaps of these as they keep putting them as rewards and on the bs adventure.

The list of items in the game that have been made obsolete by their successors or patch changes is massive.
PA needs to look back on items like the magic tools and make a way for them to be broken down into useful materials.
Right now, with the release of the new old moon accessory quest, we have a high demand for things like magic shards.
Innovation is needed here...
