BDO takes 7 minutes after loading to work

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows a fix for my issue. The game runs fine except for initially logging in.
After logging into any server and loading the game, the game doesn't allow me to:
- Chat
- Talk to NPCs
- Interact
- Collect rewards
This lasts around 7 minutes until it decides to work, and then it runs lag free until I disconnect for next session. Any idea how to fix this?

Try moving BDO to your SSD if it isn't already and see if the issue persists

BDO is on an SSD, happens with my wife's game as well on her laptop. There are no other issues with the game.
It comes and goes, sometimes I connect and can play straight away.
Once I'm in a server I can switch characters/change servers with no issues, it's just the initial login that's weird.
