BDO is not a PVP game.
If your working full time you prob shouldnt be playing BDO.
The "Free" PEN Accessory is just a strategy to make ppl login and play activity for 70 something days or semi afk for 140+ days doing those daily quests.

It's not really free, you need to do a daily quests for about 2 months and spent about 10-12BIL, I think it's still worth it at the end as you can do the daily quest while leveling a seasonal character slowly etc.

If you decide to NOT get the PEN accessory from this event then you will be choosing to NOT take the average 30 billion booster from the event.
What do I mean by 30 billion booster? say you get the PEN cres and it cost about 40 billion on the market at raw purchase. The events total cost is averageor 9-10 billion in time and effort.
The math here suggests that you are now gaining some ground... to the tune of 30 billion.
If PA wanted to place this kind of advance on more gear gains, then everyone would be getting some seriously high gear score.
With all this infomation, would you really choose to not do this event?

They never said it was gonna be free...so it's really all on YOU for making assumptions based on things they did not say. In fact they EXPLICITLY said it was not gonna be free.

I do understand this but this is not a GIFT ... thats my whole point here that they simply lie to people by saying it is a GIFT. While it's a event/mechanic where you need to invest silver and time in order to obtain it. Something that is gift means, you do absolutly nothing and get it...
the difference in the costs between getting this pen vs buying a regular pen is the gift. Move on.

I think this Pen thing only really benefits players who playing for a longer time then us newies, i can get a lot more progress atm by enhanceing and or buying up the ladder then spend money and time into getting all the needed materials. For Pen that is, Tri to Tet is a other story, there i can see the short term benefit. I will not complain at all just saying.
