New Publisher, Im confused

Hey dear community,
I hope someone can help me here because I don't get an answer to my ticket.
I haven't played BDO for several months, I check it out every six months or so every now and then.
Now I found out and was shocked and sad to see that the publisher has changed. This means that all my characters and acquired goods are irrevocably deleted. - I have already understood that much -
My question now is, do I have to buy the game again now also?
Can I at least somehow transfer my old account, with its data, my name?
and if it works somehow, is there still a possibility to save my old characters?
many thanks in advance. I have written this with a free trial account until I know how to proceed.

You had like a half year or so to transfer yoru stuff. If you did not did it, then yeah everything is lost.
Untill jul. 14 you can just link your account with twich, watch some bdo streams in the back ground for a few hours, and you get the game for free.
There is also seasons started now, so you can just quickly get to TET boss stuff on a new char, and remember to redemn the shit they gave out in the ball.

thats sounds interesting to me.
would you mind telling me how exactly I link my account with twitch? and what streams do I need to watch until I get the game?
I am not too upset about having to start over, I only spend some money mostly on character slots and mainly only played alone and grinded through the game with all the classes.. so I can do that again.

Start over all over again.
Buy your pearl shop items entirely from scratch.
There were serveral e-mails sent to inform players for a while that Pearl Abyss was going to self-publish starting a certain date. I didn't receive the e-mail but was lucky enough to come across someone who mentioned it in passing.
There's no recovering your data either but you can get the game for free or dirt cheap a lot of the times. Last week there was a free copy sent to those who linked the account with twitch i believe so you could have saved $5. Amazon Prime Games might still be giving away free copies? Not sure.
The official GM response will be that they can't ask Kakao for your information due to privacy laws in some countries, despite the US probably not having such privacy laws. I'm sorry to say you have to start over with a new game.
its cuz of EU privacy laws
my guess is the data for NA and EU is combined more or less and they need to adhere to any laws for BOTH NA and EU regardless of what region u or i may be in because theres no seperating them... like how u can make characters on NA or EU the data is combiend for both and therefore even if ur a NA player we are still help by EU laws when transfering data
thats just my guess though
