Why are Korean mmo's so negligent to the issues people are having with the game, they send us a GM's letter of appreciation and feel as though they have compensated for all the years of unbalanced PvP, Trash class buffs / nerfs, really the list goes on. They host a 1v1 event that was filled with desync which has only gotten worse over the years.
They have classes like DK, Corsair, Kuno then classes like Sage, Nova, Warrior, Ninja, Sorc and feel as though there are elements to balance. I doubt anyone from PA has actually played their game, Abilities that are on paper 'iframes' but have never actually protected anyone. Sage 2 shotting anyone with 285 ap through SA and it's classed as balance. One thing I have learned from all the years of playing BDO is that they are not actively trying to balance the game, they would much rather have it unbalanced for those willing to pay for the conveniences when having to reroll, why else would they be throwing free exchange coupons all the time, or releasing combat xp transfers.
They release classes / class variations that are 10x easier to play than some, and has 10x more damage / utility than the classes you have to play like a piano. Classes like Guardian and Succ Witchard with a 10 APM having more impact than a Ninja, Tamer, Zerker, Sorc, Warrior with 100 APM, it's understandable creating classes for people who like to play on controller / Wii remote but in no way should they be fragging and eating breakfast at the same time.
A shred of consistency would be pretty nice, but I'm not sure if consistency is in pearl abyss's vocabulary. It's fine though, just post me 10 cron stones in the mail and that will solve all my issues im having with the game ( Based on your own logic )
I mean honestly if this new dungeon sucks this game will never be good. because it only has grind in a circle for gear but guess what the gear has no purpose theres nothing to chase anymore because of how awful the games balance is
1. PVP used to be a carrot at the end of a stick its no longer that.
2. Why is it a class like ranger has to do a full combo and does less damage and is squishy AF then a mage who warps in CCs and 1 shots packs of people and is tanky? Why does my mystic grind 5x faster then my ranger while also being tanky? while my ranger takes way longer and more effort to do the same.
3. Why does FPS= DPS and increasing animation speeds to the point the server cant keep up and animations have no actual animations or holes?
4. why do some classes feel strong AF at 300AP while others are a meme? Where are the trade offs where is the balance. Theres no reason to do PVE if there is nothing to chase. If this dungeon flops in my eyes its the final nail in the coffin for me giving AF about BDO. Especially when I can always just go play a different way more popular MMO and have way more fun and more group interaction then in solo afk grind fest land that is BDO?
It really does feel like they're dumbing their game down since the release of console. While it might be a good business move, it's still stupid to feel like we're going to be regulated to classes that don't feel rewarding to play because of them designing the game around people that play the game with a controller.

its already out, you can watch how it plays.

wdym they been consistent, pump classes sometimes areas and some costumes and p2c stuff and when community rly pissed sprinkle some QOL to make every1 suck their dick.

yeah, tera tought the same "only skilled players should be at the top" they said, this is tera right now on steam:
even BDO developers acknowledged it, if most of your average players quit, the "hardcore"s also quit, and is quite logical if you think about it, whats so fun about being the best in an empty land?
it took them 5 years but apparently they finally realised their mistake, however at this point they have already chased away most of the people that was willing to play BDO, so 2 things can happen, either bdo recovers part of that lost player base (or at least manages to retain new players) or the changes piss off the wallet warriors and veterans (that actually grinded their ass off to get what they have), the moral or both BDO and TERA is the same, elitism induces toxic gameplay, and toxic gameplay kills games, that on itself explains why games as old and ugly looking (compared to bdo) as GW2 and FFXIV are to this day the best option and why they have twice the population of BDO even tho they have been out for longer, have worse graphics and worse combat systems.
imagine that it took them 5 years to realise that unskilled players also want to play games.

It's actually even worse, since FF14 is paid by mostly monthly paying players, while most of bdo players are leechers...

Ff14 it's not a good exemple because many players come from wow recently.
they doubled their numbers with the wow players
"Here's one you don't see every day. Final Fantasy XIV has "sold out," even digitally, as Square-Enix wrestles with a massive surge in popularity. I recently wrote about the large backlash towards World of Warcraft's (WoW) most recent update, which has become a focal point for on-going issues with the game's design, writing, and insistence on randomness and time gating to arbitrarily keep players paying. Large WoW influencers like Asmongold famously moved across to competing MMO Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), and it has helped trigger a wave of Warcraft refugees seeking greener pastures, myself included."
fcking hate ff14, tabtarget, hotkey simulator AND sub. Tabtarget mmos are just a thing of the past for me, cant forcemyself even if its free.
