Why is hystria so hard to grind?

Wanted to force myself to grind hystria for compass, I'm on the verge of giving up after 1h.
This place sucks donkey ass.
Monsters super spread out elten and belken or whatever his name, super slow to move to me, have ranged attacks and always away from each other.
This fcking sucks! I have both pots and the map, and I would like not to continue grinding there, a literal brain cell killer place.

I do like Aakman though. Blobs of mobs with low CC resist are fun punching bags.

giving up after 1 hour, how did you manage to get it ? even getting in sometimes takes more than 1 hour.

yeah i dislike hystria too, is more magical character oriented as they have more physical damage resistance and as you said the monsters are too spread out, thats why i never grind there.

Sounds like someone doesn't know how to pull and is to stubborn to learn how to pull and do rotations.
dude, I play awe witch, I zap em with lightning and w8 for them to come to me, what is there to know how to pull. Ppl act like pulling is some kind of science. Sure if u have retarded monsters that move like snails until you hit them, but that's still not hard!?
The whole place sux and many ppl told me so, I didn't want to believe.
Id rather kill manshaum shamans than spend my time in hystria. Compared to the other places hystria is like so far below, its no fun at all.

But he's right. Elten and Balten are not eager to chase us, and their firing range is far too long. In addition, mobs stun us almost every sec and interrupt our skills.
And drop .... Hystria don't have any drop.
People playing in Hystria only for compass parts.
