1. 1 to 2 hours of combat, I did journals, knowledge and quests..i have agris fever running trash loot with 150% increase drop (journal)& a drop rate of 20% thanks to knowledge ecology (press H key, look at Ecology drop rate) 

2. Stats for character family-even my raw new corsair has these at level 1-these are FAMILY bonus stats given from finishing journals. Menu; Press Escape > Adventure> Adventure Log Bookshelf. See your journals. Upper Left corner of window, click on Total Family Bonus

What are you losing in bonus not doing journals, knowledge and quests?

3. Imperial boxes,I do 183 boxes a day (369 CP-quest/dailies), just doing apprentice potions, thats 4 magical shards from imperial alchemy seals. 40 boxes = 1 imperial alchemy seal = 1 magical shard. Hello easy Pen Accessory item needed and I got paid silver too for the boxes. You can do the silver math if i roll out  master alchemist boxes instead.

What are you losing out on by not leveling a lifeskill.

Played a year and 8 months. 

Just your easy going soft cap PVE player here.

Longer term vet or hard core focused players probably have higher stats and silver and levels.

Yeah, you should do your logs, shocking.

Family frame silver is literal pocketchange, totally irrelevant at the current content.

End game grinders make more silver by grinding, than what they would've earn by the time they would craft and try to turn in the boxes.

Checking the alchemy seals ..its 5000 seals for a manos clothing/tool.  Creating manos clothing /accessory is 40-50 magical shards per piece.

As for the point of the topic.

Not everyone is aware of these benefits, how the entire game combines together for anything & everything that you do.

Permanent powers and rewards for your character(s) for what you've done.

Even getting titles (press P, click to the ribbon medal icon at the top)

See Title Info? Total Progress Reward-click on the ? to see the chart.

Titles give Luck, Max energy,EXP increase and Max Stamina increase (depending on your title level points)

Long view, few more levels of combat/lifeskills to family fame...be doing it anyway..

How about that. Mansion silver tax is already almost half paid for daily out of *pocket change* already. 

bro... listen.. i am glad you are new to the game and are probably having a blast with it, i also did the first 3 months, also just to clarify i have nothing against lifeskilling as the choice of doing lifeskill is personal, however some of your statements are worrisomely missleading and exagerated, please be more objective and get to know the game better before letting your excitment misslead people into doing an activity that may just disappoint them once they realise the true weight of the family fame benefits are meaningless in comparison with other activities.

Players always make their own decisions and choices of what they do and enjoy in the game.

Showing players how to find their own stats, and what are their bonus possiblities are, is again, players own decision for what they want/do/enjoy/try or ignore.

Fame is a summary of all player activities/levels kept track of by the game, and a small daily silver reward is given.

Its not something players have to keep track of, the game does it for them. Reward might change levels if player does more activity (such as level to 56 for Combat fame-2x more points-mouse over Combat Fame to read about that)

I make more doing other things than lifeskilling and actually enjoy them. 
What am I losing?  Wasting time on something I don't enjoy doing at all. 

And by not lifeskilling I still have better gear likely (and didn't have to spend IRL money on it either), while not having to do something I don't enjoy. 

Players choose what they want to do, what they enjoy and set their own goals for what they want to achieve for their characters.

Remember lifeskills before the manos update, lifeskilling is not only making boxes, with enough manos points u get dust caphras shards etc what u can sell like grinders sell theyr drops.

And it is the same processing way to get pen c10 as a tet\pen manos
