So you come up with an idea of a beastie that keeps flying away when seriously injured, dropping... bird droppings. Only it doesn't fly. It teleports. Halfway across the map (while seriously injured, let's not forget). So fast that you can't reach the location unless you're having a good courser. The again it "flies away" halfway across the map. Again bird droppings, but fewer if your mount's slower (or nothing if it's slow enough that you can barely see it "fly away").
Why not have the bugger actually fly? At a speed that players riding anything but a lvl 1 donkey can keep up with? Then maybe the horrible rewards for defeating it won't leave a sour taste. Oh, yeah! And I thought PA doesn't like the idea of fast travel in BDO.

they tried to imitate the ley lines world event of gw2 in wich the ley line boss that spawns moves around the map, but instead of moving at a normal speed so people can actually follow and dps at the same time they still want to force people into the courser bullshit by making it tp, but then again thats just bdo being bdo *shrugs*

AFAIK this has been something in the korean servers for 7 or 8 months now and they didn't change anything about it since its release. It will be left to rot like everything else lol But they absolutely should have made it more interesting. I don't know what's so hard about them making game mechanics similar to boss fights in other games like FF14. It's like, either a front / back AOE or a round AOE in this game. Then the rewards for doing this for half an hour isn't worth it. Everyone should have a T8 horse, there's no excuse unless you're brand new to the game and in which case, you shouldn't be concerned if you can't fight the latest field boss. I mean, if that's what you want then you may also want the cheat codes to be the strongest on day 1.

Well, yeah, they even gave away T8s, but that's the least of its problems. I was on at T6 I was training on that character and, after the short ... "flight" to Calpheon, I was thinking "hey! this could be cool! chasing the fucker around and pummeling it down when it touches ground". After all, the mechanics are there already, Griffon, Khalk, etc. But nope. They went for the immersion breaking mechanic of teleporting followed by tossing you a few specs of dust for the effort.
Lastly, even the fight itself is meh. Boss'es hp doesn't scale with the amount of players around it so, either the bugger melts (like it did day 1), or it will be a fight you can't win. Cool idea, dumb time-sink. And yes, with the way they implemented it, it was bound to be DoA - even if there will most probably be a few hoping for that "up to +10 Blackstar"... something.

Honestly I don't understand the stupidity of not giving players tokens for kill these bosses that players can collect and turn in for rewards. How many times has someone been to say vell and never got more than 5m in drops from it, but know one guy who been to vell less than 10 times and already got multiple vell hearts from it? Just completely RNG unrewarding designs and than PA wonders why people lose interest in doing these WBs, and why 80% of the people that do still show up only do it on a select few bosses using alts parked at them and just afk and wait for the loot too drop.
