I'm going to explain whats going on as short as possible...

As you all know, You can play BDO in the background in AFK. Fishing, Cooking, Horse Training, whatever. The issue is, now that they have switch Anti cheat Systems to Easy Anti Cheat, I have now ran into a new issue. While in AFK, I minimize the game into tray, While its playing by itself, I like to play other games like Smite or For Honor. However because both games use Easy Anti Cheat, It gives me the error: "An incompatible easy anti cheat driver version is already running" When I try to launch For Honor and it fails to open. Does anyone know if this is normal and EAC just rejects or cant run 2 games at once, or is there a bigger problem going on here?

i already had this type of issue when playing in the same time 2 game that have Easy anti cheat.

Its happen that a lot of game don't have the same version/don't update at the same frequency that others.

If I remember the support respond that i got from the support of Dauntless where i got this issue.  It's just impossible to fix.
You must play a game that don't have this anti-cheat.  :(

I'm having the same problem.  Before transferring from Kakao to PA, I used to be able to play both Archeage unchained and BDO at the same time.  Now I get this easy anti cheat error when I try to run both of them.  Guess you can only one EAC game at a time?  I'll have to keep myself busy some other way while bartering :)

I've had nothing but random easy anti cheat disconnects since the migration to the new servers. The game used to run for weeks without a disconnect. I've scoured the net for tips and fixes and have gone through them all - still no luck.

New World is also using the Easy Anti Cheat and wont run with BDO. Time to make a choice i guess. 

I never had this problem, but if I did, the best workaround would be a VM (virtual machine) assuming you have enough RAM to run everything.  Oracle Virtual Box is free to download and use.  There maybe some issues with getting it all set up and running and EAC might think the VM is a cheat?  I wouldn't know, since I never put that to any first hand field testing.  The basic idea is you boot up your OS and then run the VM with another copy of your OS. The VM is going to be (sluggish) slower, so I would recommend the idle game is on the VM.  You want to run the active game on the boot OS.  The VM will make a virtual drive and it is best to go dynamic, it can create more space as needed.  However as I said, this is unexplored territory,  I would just refrain from playing two games both using the same anti-cheat software.  When I do anything on BDO that is AFK, I sleep, watch TV, go shopping, etc.. I leave the PC alone.

Thats not even hard choice to make. I played New world and it was way more promising than I anticipated and gladly throw BDO to trash
