Do we really need 2 things that shows the same thing?

and

The new one randomly open itself every now then and it adds nothing new to the game. Please add an option to disable it in Edit UI.

Secondly,

It was said that these would go away by themselves after like 20 sec or something in last weeks patchnotes but that only applies to the first message. The rift one can be removed by opening and closing the dark rift window once but the 3rd one constantly reopens when you change between different life skill gear.

These should seriously be turned off under some "disable tutorial" option because they are only useful for new players.

It just showcases the quality of PA's UI design skills

It's megabad.

And they are just keep adding those pointless clutters with patch after patch, it's already looks like a trashy mobile game, but if it continoues like this, you not even gonna see your characters within 5 years from all the crap they put into the screen for no reason.

Meanwhile the stupid people say no addons and put in screenshots from wow with less clutter than what bdo has nowdays LOL

Screen clutter is a serious issue!

Too much is annoying. As a player who knows where to find things, I want to disable certain UI elements (pop-ups & reminders & other things) and just access them as needed and not have them flashing in my face.

Given the nonsense they did a week or so ago where the find NPC button glowed gold when you were in town (which they fortunately got rid of), I would guess that PA thinks that the find NPC functionality is too hard to find and that players aren't using it - though it could also be that they simply want to make it faster to access. Regardless, I agree that it's terrible. It's duplicating functionality and taking up screen real estate. I don't know why the find NPC button would be hard to find unless players are just too lazy to even figure out what the stuff on screen even does. And for speeding up accessing the find NPC window, you can add a shortcut to it. So, the new bar is just unnecessary and dumb. IMHO, they should outright get rid of it, but barring that, they should at least make it possible to disable it without also disabling the bar with the find NPC button on it.

And as for those banners in the bottom right? They should all go. The icons below them already provide that information, making the banners utterly redundant, and once again, they unnecessarily take up screen real estate. I actually used to have my stamina bar in that corner but had to move it because of the banners which kept popping up. And the buttons in the bottom right should be customizable too. e.g. I always use the shortcut for the black spirit, so I don't need the button for it. Having the option for those who don't want to use that shortcut is fine, but I'd love the option to free up that little bit more of screen real estate. And since the UI is already fairly customizable (and some of it a very granular level - e.g. where the quickslots go), it's annoying that some of the rest of the UI elements are just treated as bars that can't be customized - and having them add yet more UI elements that can't be customized makes it that much worse (especially when they're redundant like the new find NPC bar or the banners in the bottom right).

PA has been making some nice QoL improvements lately (e.g. finally adding a visible timer for when the guild missions reset or adding more stat information to your character window), but some of the stuff that they've been coming up with has been just plain bad.

There would be no problem for new players if bdo actually had a tutorial on all aspects of the game.

Suggest another option

Let all of the UI sections have a tab close/open choice as well-like click  > or < on and it opens or closes-and allow tabs < or > to show/hide as well.

Label Tabs - 5 letters or less for description-simple word, that can be translated into multiple languages.

Examples:

Right side of screen:       < Quest

                                       < Map

Left side of screen:          Chat >

                                        Level >

Bottom of screen :          Keys ^

Players can still configure  icons to appear or not, but the tab saves the whole unit-like Quest-and the option to show or close it by tab .

Yeah, and/or a proper instruction manual. It's definitely a big problem with this game. But even then, it's the player's fault if they don't even attempt to figure out what the various buttons on the screen do, and for PA to try to fix it by adding yet more buttons is just idiocy.

Another UI problem that bugs me personally is how thin and unclickable some scrollbars are.

https://gyazo.com/28f93c6422ac861b8b4286273605c

And anyone else has an issue with mouse wheel scroll is clunkcy and unresponsive? I would say my mouse is the issue if it wasn't because on other programs, games or websites it works fine.

On the "Nearby NPC" window or Central Market its responsive and smooth.

On the chat windows it's kind of sluggish, sometimes really bad when it doesn't detect input and doesn't scroll.

On the Skill List of a Connected Horse on a Wagon, it's terrible, have to click the Skill Window about 2-3 times and scroll repeatedly to get any type of response.

and hon, this wouldn't work. People don't read. They all smash RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to get tutorials done.

The chat wont scroll if you hover your cursor over someones name, an item link or the chat header if you have that enabled.

Not for any good reason just poorly made.
