This games gearing experience / progression experience is a complete joke.
PEN is too hard to achieve. Average PEN item can be anywhere from 1500usd (kutum/nouver) to 10000usd (blackstar) 15b-100b
v1 Majority of the content is solo only, and punishes you for having friends.
v2 Majority of the content is to grind alone by yourself either pvm or lifeskilling.
Best money making in the game is to play the casino. AKA rng/enhancement.
BDO's og, Kim Dae-il is fond of casinos and it shows ingame. Do some research if you please.
Best perks in the game are only buyable through IRL money, its why alot of people scream P2W all the time.

And they are dead.
Final Fantasy XIV? What is it anyway? I don't know anybody who plays it.
ESO? Game died when they added "non-mandatory" subscription.
I'm not sure if you are just being facetious, stupid or a troll....

Don't know about ESO, but jesus man, get out of that basement that is BDO and experience something else.
As someone who plays mmos a ton all his life. Ultima Online, Everquest, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy both of them, so on and so on. I'm just going to keep this simple.
PVP can and never will be balanced in a MMO settings. That is just how it is. Pure pvp focus mmos don't last, why? Because it is and always will be a side thing in mmos. When mmos come out that focus on it. We see where these mmorpgs end up.
BDO combat and its unqiue life system is the only thing holding it up right now.
Not pvp
Not pve (even though the combat could be consider pve on that, but im saying pve features here.)
While I understand people who enjoy the pvp want balance. This game is needs to focus on what keeps most players coming back. PVP will always be a problem, it will always have balance issues. So spending man power to fix something that can't be fixed, or focus on what makes BDO fun for most players?
Nice, random guy against vet WK army from KK forum, i missed drama so much...
I wouldn't say it's gonna die this year but I have a feeling this game might not last until it's 10th Anniversary if they don't do something about the overtuned CC mechanics this game has. The #1 reason why I don't PVP in BDO is because it's literally "first grab first win" because you can chain CC people.

I agree PVP will never be balanced but things can be done to at-least try balance things about. Simply put as stands now when there 20 classes in a game, but NWs, Sieges, and RBF are 80% filled by only 2 of those classes well something is clearly broken mechanicly and needs to be looked up. But at same time I know that form PVP is all large scale and some classes will perform better in different senerios than others, but still 80% of players playing the same class shows there is a major balancing problem in the game. Classes won't ever be perfectly balanced but that no excess to leave balance in a piss poor clearly broken state.
Also saying "It PVE content who cares if your classes isn't the best class in the game for killing mobs." Is also no excess to leave PVE balance in the piss poor state it is now as well.

There is very large difference between not properly ballanced (like what wow was), and some classes oneshoting others in groups from range while others are literately trash.
It's not a simple "x class does 10% more damage, omg nerf". There are classes literately doing 2-3 times the damage that other's dealing, which is pathetic tbh.
Ever wondered why there are no damage numbers? The outcry would be so loud when you would realize how fucked up it is...
PVP dies or not, its a meh for me. I don't play this game for PVP - I do it for the PVE. I only play MMOs for PVE w/ interactions with others. Games like RuneScape, WoW, FFXIV, and BDO, only do it for the pve and nothing else. Idc if I'm losing out, nor do I care about this new Crimson Desert game (which isn't even a MMO, considering it's centric on a singular character - and is going to be a single-player game). (Single player like ASC, GDW, most FF series, etc).
You gotta stop generalizing.
Besides, people claim hundreds of games are dying, and boy, wait until you find out that literally every MMO has class unbalance issues. WoW being a big one. Like you think BDO is bad? You never met Blizzard.
So yeah.
BDO is NOT going to die. You do know it has a large player base right? And they made over 1 billion USD? This is not the sales of a game thats dying.
Look at Runescape, only like 500-600 million USD, and after 20 years, it's still going kinda strong.

1. No one care console players.
2. 20 million REGISTERED users =/= active players. I currently have about 30 bdo accounts, are they 30 players?
3. No one care Asian players here. This is the WEST market. If Korean want to sell us good mmo asian game, they have to adapt it to Western players and their requirements.
4. CrossFire had 8 million players in 2017 and earned 1.4 BILLION USD. It does not change the fact that the CrossFire is: one big p2w S. with a cheaters in every game.
5. Even WoW still alive, but who cares about this Chinese gold farm?
