I see you have decided to personally attack me on multiple threads for zero reason like a man child. I will add you to the list of man children who post I do not ready cause that how much your opinion matters faceless internet troll #815982.
Multiple people have called out the intro you made because it's non-sensical. Of the classes you listed only succ witch/wiz can be seen as "game breaking". Guard, Valk, and Ninja are strong, but their kits have obvious limitations. Lumping these classes together makes you seem more butthurt than analytical.
Wait... Didn't I see the same topic last year?...
And the year before too?
And the one before?...
Was going to disagree with the OP, except the horrible customer service and support is probably going to do just that more than anything else. The switch to PA in this area has been a complete failure on their part.
the ad serves to capture those who understand and appreciate the genre that BDO brings. The others must keep quiet and go their way.
BDO which changes is BDO which dies. BDO must remain BDO otherwise BDO is no longer.
BDO does not need anything that the traditional cycles already implemented since the release.
Al right, please name what is exactly that bdo gives but other games not? (Even if we ignore the fact tht you wrote BS, as the advertisment's purpose is to bait as much people as they can, anot not to selectively pick a few.)
Also:
This is one of the ads they are using. Do you think it will bait anyone? Any new player?
At most it tells an old player that there is a new class he can try. But if that guy ain't playing anymore, he probably had a good reason to quit...
It's hilarious how people keep insisting that the 5% that give a single fuck about PvP actually matter, at all.
This game has been dead for years, the numbers don't lie:
Yes steam players are not all players but steam stats show us players fluctuation: cron stones and p2w starts, new class addition, covid pandemic start, etc.
Covid is "the best". As you can see the game lost all players interested in it during this period.
If we compare how many people played from premiere and how many plays now we see that ... the same or even less.
Yes: no new players. We had several events "play and keep game for free" but that didn't change anything.
Even 95% new player quit bdo in the first or second month.
After transfer my guild drop from extra large to ... small. I checked guild ranking and what I saw? All guilds lost players, one less but most guilds lost many players.
Even shakatu twitch stream event show us very small game playerbase. I watched the first day because it was the best for it: only 22k players same time. But remember: this event it's for all regions. Yes not all players care twitch events but only 22k players for all regions? It's low, very low.
Game wil not die on base Korean market but in Europe/US - this game is basically non-existent.
Funny fact: Europa and US players paying more then Korean players but PA don't care us and our opinions.
Kakao did a good job of evacuating the sinking ship.
Even I playing bdo while waiting for the New World premiere to get rid of bdo toxicity.
Yes, sure, eg. Cabal Online exists 15 years, but can we say he's alive? Absolutely not.
Bad pvp (in particular toxic griefing open forced pvp) and aggressive p2w can kill any good game. And I just see it in bdo: more and more worse decisions, no listening to players opinions (even very good changes changed to p2w elements), fewer and fewer players "recompensated" with more and more aggressive p2w.
??? All Server are on medium was never like this before.
200% increase of players and u guys are talking about a dying game.
Thanks for the good laugh. https://www.thegamer.com/black-desert-online-player-count-increase/#:~:text=In%20the%20days%20following%20the,number%20during%20our%20recent%20interview.
Yea dying fast ^^

Aaaah, random numbers, they are the best ones! ^^
Almost as funny as seeing some clear anti pvp posters talking about the current state of pvp and owpvp with an obvious bias!
Yea dying fast ^^
Thoses values always have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
That game survive because they ran over the years enough of thoses "free entrance" / get BOD for free event + various give away, or boost event
Like here with PA taking over ( the player increase since february pretty much display that ) But that never last long tho.
Yet despite all thoses "bring new players events" that game still stagnate at around 10k+ average ( considering the values prior covid pandemic )
AND in thoses avg 10k+ you have to consider how the game push players to mainly have the game in trail = not play BDO with the various event / timed reward / all life skill.
And that not speaking about the clear lack of new competitor, since years in the west the competitor are the sames.
So yeah just looking at thoses values, it look "fine"
yet when you look behind, that game neither look that much in a great shape, i indeed doubt it will die this years, but yeah.
Only a small % of players play on steam, steamcharts are meaningless.

The amount of people in the western market who play MMOs for PvP is abysmally tiny, proven by the fact that every single "PvP focused" MMO is dead.
Even ESO, a game where Cyrodiil PvP was supposed to be the focus, forced the devs to pretty much abandon the PvP side, because no one cared. Now it's just a onesided stomp in there, because actually fighting isn't rewarding, so people don't bother.
Doing PvP for rewards =/= caring about PvP
