Hello everyone reading this, please be understanding and open-minded about this post.
So I've been thinking for a while now that the world of BDO needs to start making little minigames and features inside the world of BDO that could enrich the culture.
If BDO had a card game that was integral to the NPC's and User's inside the world itself it would be a step in the right direction to get players involved in more than just combat and life-skill activities.
Furthermore, the items in the game and the dailies that are already embedded in the game could serve as a way to source this kind of mini-game, or card game.
Imagine having a card game like Triple-Triad from FF8, or Caravan from the Fallout series.
Having special cards that are difficult to obtain in various adventuring and questing and killing and life-skilling... ETC.
The potential here is huge.
IIRC In PA's recent Heidel ball, they said they will be coming out with a card game.
It would have a ranked ladder system tied to it, but also would be purely just for fun. no loot drops...
when you mentioned npcs though.. and with a card game coming that just for fun... I'd almost rather see a new amity game w/ cards.
maybe if you get high amity with new card game with npcs, youll unlock a npc exclusive cards, to create a deck.. and you can travel around the world to certain npcs to create certain decks etc etc.... and of course then use these decks vs players for the ranked ladder.
would sound like a big system overhaul, highly unlikely, lotta work, could be more interesting than current amity games...
and yeah I agree, more little fun mingames to play with friends for fun
... either way, they said a card game is coming this year, so well have to wait n see what they do
LOL. This game has way too many mini-games already. If anything, I'd prefer that they remove the ones that they have. They're all annoying and terrible. But they'll do what they'll do, and they already said that they're planning more, sadly.

Yeah, nothing is going to stop the train. However, with our community powers combined, we could probably make the next addition better than the rest of the dysfunctional mini-games.
All it would take is the willingness and cooperation of most of the players here on the forums to make something we can be proud of.
