Attoraxion is Dead On Arrival.  Literally nobody is using this content.  Scrap the rest of the other dungeon's and instead just focus on what players reallly want like Job adjustments, more Grind zones and other QOL stuff.

 

And whoever the Dev is who came up with the Attoraxion, transfer him outta Dev team so he can't hurt the game any further.

plenty of people doing it, my guild is running it right after their reset

 

however, I do agree that party content is shit when playing with randoms that don't know shit or don't talk via comms

If there was a better Party Finder System and No Crystal Breaks on Death penalty then maybe more ppl would be inclined to try it out.

 

There are multiple problems with this dungeon.

 

1.) You need to create an entrance item to enter....

2.) You need to go to that cave near Velia to enter.....

3.)  You need 4 ppl to go with you to enter and succeed.... (gl with that)

4.) You can't even explore since the very first mob hits you like a 700+ GS Siege Guild Member....

5.)  Puzzles on BDO?  Yeah that's totally what BDO players wanna do .....

6.) Brutal Ingame Death Punishments that discourage you from even attempting to try it...

7.) Meh Rewards.

 

If this dungeon was any good, the party finder would be riddled with it.  But nope nothing but Turos and Mirumok.

They removed the death penalties on the regular servers with the last update (though not on the Elvia servers). So, that particular problem is mostly now gone.

 

Of course, that still leaves the huge problem that it's content that requires a group. Personally, I wouldn't want to do content in groups even if it were always easy to find other people to do it with.

I like the dungeon and the riddles so do a bunch of my fellow guild mates. Not every content is for every body. Just focus on what is fun for you and don't judge on the importance of new content just because YOU are not interested.

Shitmode got what it deserves. Remember, it took 2-3 week for grand prix to die, ato was dead on 1st weekend.

You do realise that what you want in this regard does not matter. Other people did ask for dungeons and group play. If you are not interested in doing the dungeons just don't do it. I will never partake in either pvp nor the dungeons but I am not asking them to remove node wars, sieges, rbf or these dungeons

I hope they keep it as just side non-essential content.

 

BDO's whole success was built on people not clustered away in dungeons/raid but instead in the open world engage in grinding, combat and non-combat progression.

 

The worst thing an MMO dev can do for longevity is thinking pleasing "everyone" is the safest strategy. You cannot have core gameplay and fundamentals/systems design while offering every possible avenue of content it just pratically never work because they go hand-in-hand. Stick to a strength, improve on that. That's not saying you cannot branch out and explore, but do it within your core design.

 

We were promised two new open world areas for a while. This is what most are seeking because that is what drew us to BDO. New areas, mobs, grind zones, lifeskill areas, housing, node networks, environments etc. I just hope they are not spreading themselves too thin and it's delaying actual new areas.

Just cleared Atoraxxion on a normal server.  It was not fun.  The music was meh.  The puzzles were crap.  Some of the mobs  Hit way too hard, ppl were dying left and right and BREAKING CRYSTALS when supposedly the Death Penalties are off on Normal servers.

 

Literally never doing that again.  The last boss, the Urugon mob was so tanky i almost fell asleep. Never seen such a terrible "dungeon" lol.

 

Took almost 3 hours to complete.  If there was not a 100 Failstack reward in the end, ppl wouldn't do this at all lol.  The reward should be 300 FS.

I wanted dungeons, but I wanted traditional MMO dungeons.

ESO's vet dungeons are amazing. Really fun mechanics.

 

The problem with BDO is that instead of a lot of mechanics, we get enemies with either ridiculous health or super hard hits that are impossible to survive unless you have X amount of gear.

 

The only thing that should one-shot players is a boss mechanic like running to the wrong color of a rune during a certain phase or not dispelling a curse put on you by selecting the correct phial. Etc. There are SO many interesting mechanics that leave players happy when they finally get good at beating a boss. 

 

It should never be about how hard a mob or boss regularly hits. That is exceptionally boring. 

 

I do think that because of a lot of players in BDO like grinding, dungeons should equate the amount of reward/loot players can earn outside the dungeon. No more, no less.

 

That way dungeons are a good ALTERNATIVE for those players who are bored of grinding mobs solo and want group-play mechanics instead.
