When a GM currently sends an invitation contract to an applicant in the Guild window Notifications tab, there seems to be no way to cancel the sent contract. Please make the Dismiss button also cancel any previously sent guild contracts.
Also placing a time limit on the contracts that are sent would be wonderful. A 24-hour timer before the offered contract expires would allow for people who have varying schedules to still log in and accept before it is gone if they are logging in each day.
Or a better option would be to give the GM a setting where they can choose to make the contracts 24-hour, 48-hour, or even 72-hour contracts, whatever suits the way they do things.
Right now the contract system through the guild window is maddeningly uncontrolled. PLEASE do something to make it less chaotic for the guild leadership. Thank you!
Edit: For clarification, sending 15-day contracts is fine. The 24-, 48-, and 72-hour contract that I mentioned is the expiration window for a player to accept the contract before it becomes unavailable. Leaving a contract open indefinitely, which is what it seems like it's doing right now, is just terrible for guild organization and keeping track of new and prospective members.
+1
Make the invite to the guild an "on-the-spot" thing.
Unless I am missing something, log out, or switch server (due to fact must be on same server as applicant) cancels the contract. Happens too if lag out.

Yes, they recently changed the system, and this post is in response to the recent changes.
