So, I got the email about a transfer the other day. I quit after they changed PvP system and imo wrecked it.. Came back to see what is new only to find.. nothing is really new or better at all. The p2w they put in has taken its toll but at this point I hardly care about that. It's that gear ehancement has gone so much further but with no real way of catching up. I played for 2 years, they changed everything I enjoyed so I quit, my curiousity brought me back for today but the thought of doing that grind over again is a yikes. I had hoped for casual grind, lifeskill and arena dueling but I am sooo far back it's absurd. 

This game still demands everything from you, afk all day to earn things/make money. 

It still has a crap pvp system and no balance at all. 

The Pearl Shop is worse now than when I left, value pack 2.0 in that moon thing?

And what kept me hooked for two years, being combat, looks and pvping.. is not enough to bring me back. The game looks good is all I can say anymore. 

I hope you're all enjoying bdo still, but frankly how anyone can carry on playing this for pvp without simply being stuck in the sunk cost fallacy or being straight up addicted is beyond me. Wars are still who has the biggest witch/wiz ball and highest avg gs. Classes that need love still have not gotten it in these years I have been gone.Back to LoL and FFXIV I go, one for pvp one for some hardcore pve. And each of those look great in their own ways as well. Without being nearly so costly or time consuming as this game.

Oh you think I was mean and toxic well if you see it like that do so but to me is getting annoying that people feel the need to comeback and complaine how much they dislike the game and that they are leaving again or not coming back becuse the game suck and is clearly not a game for them.  

Instead of just say fuck it this game is not for me I rather go play  a game I enjoy but no they have to tell every one hey im not coming back or Im leaving becuse the game is not wa sI want it to be. 

Pearly abyss clearly don´t give 2 cents what people think as long as they get money and when that dry up axe the game and move on to the next game to milk. 

So I will say wasting your time on a game that the preason clearly don´t enjoy and then return just to complain about it just seams counterproductive and a bit stupid. Just admit it the game sucks and pearly abyss don´t care enugh to change it move on find a mmo you enjoy instead of trying to seek akwnolagment from others on a forum.

Im not dfending BDO and I know BDO is not perfect but I enjoy it in small doeses for me this is Harvet moon the mmo and after 17 years of pvp in eve online it´s nice to just jump in do some casual shit and avoid the big wars and drama eve offers  on a daylie bases so when I want to get away from that I don´t need more drama or bitching or buhu it´s not what I wanted.


When I don´t like I game I don´t go to others and bitch about it I quit playing telling no one and then go play a game I enjoy instead of wasting my time telling random people about it. 

The OP provided important feedback that is good for everyone.  It may help new players evaluate whether the game is for them and it gives the developers and community another data point to help back up on things we already know.

Solution 1: PVE Servers.  The main focus of their complaint was the ability to catch up.  Catching up isn't that important on a PVE server.

Solution 2: Limited RBF.  Establishing some limits on this would allow for lesser involved people to interact more.

Solution 3: Play on Seasonal where many of the long term advantages don't apply.
