1. People on friendslist and guildmates are not allowed to give likes to each other

2. you can only give like to the same person once every week on the Thursday cooldown a day

There are far too many players who would abuse/exploit this system, have their friends and guildmates feed them likes to constantly hold the special colored titles every 90 days when they clearly don't do anything useful in the group chat to deserve it.

because then it's just a popularity contest, at that point the whole system should be removed.

the like system is to reward those who contributed to help others

there is nothing diligent nor effort to have your friends/guild feed you likes for doing nothing other than existing. After being active across multiple groups I have noticed a few people that tend to help a lot/contribute end up with normal or blue hat by the end of the season, most, not all, of the yellow hats are just trolls and it's very clear where the majority of their likes are from.

Likes is the least problem with chats. 

I am sure you know what I am talking about since some ambassadors are one of the exploiters that are doing this to uphold the title, after all, one of the requirements that to keep it or a chance to win a free value pack is to be the most "helpful".

Besides, the reason why I proposed the changes was to stop exploiters, if you aren't exploiting, there shouldn't be any worries

If likes system was so bad, why such larges websites as Facebook or Reddit use it.

Yeah, there a small minority, who live their lifes on that chat true, but on the grand scale that less than 10 ppl don't matter.

Heck the whole group chat is heavily limited in max player count, so even if all ppl on that would care, that would still a small minority.

They could improve it tho, but you know most ppl don't even knwo that they can give like, so even if someone actually helps (as intendeed on that chat) he not going to get liked.

I do agree that it should be easier to have a upvote button next to a message so that it's easier for people to like a message that was helpful but as it stands, it's just a circle jerk and handing out title or even free 30day value packs to those who clearly do not deserve it, if that is the case then the whole thing should be removed since it has no purpose.
