It is a slippery eithical decision.  I know I would allow freedom with all classes, but I am not PA, nor do I work for them.  However to those saying this will allow a flood of pediphilie into the game, this is not always the case.  There is an MMO game that allows for players to make virtually anthing.  Mostly what I see in that game is a ton furries and a lot of rainbow pride riders. 

A friend of mine, who played the game with me, made a character that was a little girl.  He went as far to name it "A little girl" so when you killed him in PvP it said, "You defeated A little girl.".  To the best of my knowledge, he was the only "little girl" in the whole game.  The costume and character editor was very detailed in the respect that many toons could appear to be nude.  But no naked little girls were found, players behaved themselves and praticied a little self control.  There was a character in the game called "Old BoB" who was an very old man wearing a diaper.  Since the game is superhero based, the only thing the company censored was DC/Marvel names.

My friend moved along, but I remember people telling him in raids, "Thanks little girl, we couldn't have done it without you!".  She used 2 police batons to beat the snot out of the bad guys and looked a lot like Hitgirl from the comics / movie Kickass.

I remember when the Shai first came out. There were guilds dedicated to hunting down and PKing any Shai players. I got banned by two guilds I joined because I had a Shai character. "But dont you all have shais to get the 1000G bar reward and free accessories?" "Yeah but once I got the reward I deleted my Shai and so should you." NA Doesnt have the maturity to see a child in a non sexual way.

I don't understand the complaints?  Why do you want to see a Shai in revealing clothes?  Lol

That is a sad story, but allow me to remind people, this kind of censorship is not limited to only one nation or hemisphere on the planet. I wrote about the before in another Shai thread on this subject;

Austrailia forced Rockstar to remove the prostitution from their version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This is not the infamous "Hot Coffee" mod, rather the part where Carl Johnson would pick up a girl in his car and it would show his bumper bouncing up and down. It is fine and dandy to kill cops, mug people, beat up homeless, driveby shootings, and other chaos, but they didn't think prostitution should be even be suggested in a mature video game. When the hackers finally discovered the deactivated mini game code and used a mod to reactivate it, the shit hit the fan.  Rockstar was again forced to release version 2.0 without the deactivated mini game and offered exchanges.

The people you have to thank for many video games being censored, are the lawyers who rake in tons of money for themselves.  Jack Thompson is a disbarred Florida attorney who did the most damage to video games long ago. I am pretty sure PA is mostly concerned with complicated legal issues.

I still remember how painfull it was to grind out that crap class for the goldbars...

Solution : separate NA from EU

you have too many religions / politics / identity / racial problems on NA
we don't want that in our games in EU
keep your censorship to yourself
