After the most recent patch, I am no longer able to play BDO at anything other than LOWEST settings. As soon as I log on to any char, my PC instantly locks up and crashes. 

Only been playing for a few weeks but never had this issue before now with any game never mind BDO.

I have not changed any settings as of late to cause this, i tried updating all drivers etc including windows update and to no avail.

The only way to get it to work is set the game to the LOWEST settings avaible. I am not sure what setting is causing the crash but its a bad crash for it to blue screen in 2021.

Can anyone please help?! Is anyone else having this issue?

Well it could be a typical but simple issue which was more often the case already for many different players if you didn't change or install any new things.

In fact there is most likely an app which causing it because anyone was incompetend again...
Well who of them is at fault now we better don't try to utter.
I got many issues myself lately, and it's even not my or the PCs fault.Yea can say that, that's totally annoying!

 Ok to the topic:
First it would be nice to get more infos about the BSOD crash.
"Bluescreen view" is a tiny but nice app for free which can display many info about which address and which driver/app crashed.
If you click on it the app is displaying a few lines of crashes /the last ones you received), if you click on it, a new window will open. Can you post, or better upload the info from this window here? 

This said, try to close any additional app which is handling your keyboard or mouse, or is "supposed" to optimize your settings or maximize your performance  (for example Icue or Swarm depending on which brand you're using, or something like Razer Synapse).
Also try to make a clean install of your videocard driver while using "Display Driver Uninstaller", short: DDU, and install it a new- maybe the latest card driver is faulty? Depending if you're using AMD or Nvidia, Nvidia released a new one today for example, Windows 10 could have been installed it automatically. Maybe trying to installa former vberison.

Try again and then immediately after:

Windows key > type in event viewer

From there find an error that is related to the game. It might show you an error with your video card or some sort of dependency. You'll have to google the error information because it's pretty cryptic in event viewer. This solves almost all issues you'll ever get with a computer.
