Should the PA staff read this;
After playing BDO for 6 months, I sincerely say, "Thanks for the great game!". There is one annoying factor as evident by the title. While viewing a lengthy movie in any given area, there has been a few times I find my mount is dead and back in the last stable. It would seem like a simple task to make my mount immue to the damage for the time the scene needs to play. I don't always have the luxury of parking a mile away just to hike in an watch the movie.
I imagine you want us to view dialog and movies, I know many players probably skip them. Why punish people for reading and enjoying content?
Horses are immune to damage from mobs with lower level than the horse's. So if you are in area for lvl 50, make your horse lvl 51 and mobs will not attack it.
Besides. Not sure what "miles" are you talking about. Quest's NPCs are usually at place where mobs will not attack if you don't lure them there of course.

That is not true. Horses aren't attacked if they are atleast 15levels higher than the mobs.

I disagree with that. My horse doesn't get attacked, only if vastly outlevelling the mobs(I never tried to find the level difference).
+1
PA should make all main questline mobs weaker against mounts in general. Also, the ability to aggro idle mounts should be taken away.
It really doesn't matter, if your horse is a T1 level 1 nag or Uber the Wonder horse at level 400. Your mount should not be getting ripped to pieces while you are viewing the video built into the game. Worse yet, these videos are one and done, it isn't like I can watch it later on the same character. If you are ok with this Evellein, then maybe Pearl Abyss should add more realism with horse theives, to clear up all the extra mounts out on the roadside?
I hope PA takes time to review the idea, of at least placing notification of mount damage during the videos. If you are watching a movie in the game and return to a dead mount, it is not your fault. I don't know if they notify you about mount damage when talking to NPCs but they should. I don't even know, if mount death count even matters, but I will assume it is there for a reason.
Have fun!

Horse death count doesn't matter anymore. It has no use.
And I still stand up to what I said. 99% of quest NPCs, cut scenes etc are further from any monsters, so there is no way it will get attacked.
