Bug relates to Corsair guard brakes. This is a new bug that came with the launch of corsair.

While playing as shai; Engage with a Corsair performing a guard brake (target gauge affecter) while using a shai performing a forward guard skill that uses backward motion. or/and jsut walking back (hard to tell, but its related to backeward movment and gaurd brakes)

This is quite a common problem but will only be noticed by shais that PvP and engage on targets.

This issue was first noted back on the seasonal servers while Playing RBF as a shai and the issues was/is game braking.

It affect all areas of PVP, Node wars, sieges, RBF.

This bug was introduce with Corsair patch.

This issue has affected other classes and that got patched out for another class (you know what the bug is already, it effects Shai as well). Shai was not fixed as the error was not understood at the time.

You have already addressed this bug on other class, so it should not be an issue to fix it for Shai as well Ty.

Nearly at one month to adress a issue that othere classes had and was correct. That was brought in with Corssair class... and relates to guard brake, and have explained how to reproduce, and made you aware that it the same issue you had with anothere class... EZ fix

Yet, here i am in RBF again, PVPing on my shai (thats why it when unotice i guess, not many do that) and bam, still there.

Give the 1,000s i have spent, its a kick in the teeth to see the Dev's Vs Shai meme coming true... sure, if it was a new bug, with no solution, it would take time... but you alreay know the issue and have corrected it for otehre classes.

Its not a minor bug, its a game braking  for the duration you are trapped in the animation, that can lead to death, be it RBF, or NW, or out in the wild... And here you are rebooting othere classes (happy about that) but havent even implimated a fix for a bug you have the solution too.. why? cus you dont give a dam about the shai classs... Well come clean on it, becuse if you just gonna let it rot, it's kinda like you cheating me out of real life money, leaving me to belive you give a dam about the class, and that just disgusting!

Still gonna play my DBO, but may not so fast to spend any more money on it :P

today, in a node war, use forward guard and a corsair hits me, get stuck in walking back animation and slowly die.... Spoiling it for me and the team

i see in the patch notes such things as

'● Purging Shot - Fixed the issue where damage would not be inflicted when the skill's current level was lower than that of Volant Kick.'

you know what would be nice?
Fixed shai bug where you get stuck in walking backward animation and dies
you see, the bugs you have fixed, month after month are not game braking for them classes... the one I have posted here and reminded you of, with not acknowledgments of my post... Is game braking, Happen on other classes, was fixed for other classes, and was created back when we got corsair.

STILL NOTHING! Why PA? There are priorities and there are p*ss takes

And to other shai wondering what this bug is; you haven’t come across it because you don’t party as hard as me :P yet to see another shai play as aggressive, and that’s when you get hit by corsairs guard brake and get stuck in animation and die.

Even if you are  a bongo bot, if you are even a little bit active in NW, E.g know that you have a Farward guard on your character, and you know who to use it, then;

If they add guard brake to more front line (or rats even) classes in the reworks, Your shai will become broken too. Infact, it would me I stop taking part in NW, and PVP is my BDO thing.

Fix it now PA before you let it damage more. When shai are seen all over the place, walking backwards in wars, and are no longer able to participate. GG

Well, 3 things.

1. They are reworking all the classes right now, well maybe all? They did say until before shai but they may have changed their mind as they usually do so I would expect all classes to change based on a class rework.

2. I don't think any devs come to the forums. There's a CM that pops by once in a while but I don't think anyone else comes. They should really initiate a "thank you for your feedback, a ticket has been made for the devs etc etc..."

3. They have a form somewhere where you can report bugs and they might contact you directly about it. I reported a bug once and was contacted a few days later, might wanna give that a try. At least this way you will see whether or not they will do something about it, kinda.

ty... yes I’m learning fast that the forums, although they give the appearance as a platform for feedback and suggestion even bug reports... they are not. That’s okay, but make it clear to the posters that that’s the case, rather than make us think there is an point to posting here... This misleading of use is only to make the forums look more active and important than they are... If people knew it’s was meaningless, they would not post so much.. that's PA policy? to support such systems… disappointing

That gets me more than anything.. When I’m lied too.. Anyways ty for the suggestions, will be working on a video and ticket for the bug... now what if a staff member (or moderator) could have suggested that? oh wait, they don’t engage and that my issue here :P

Also an issue when the gate keepers are not proper PA staff, hopefully they will address that and set up a more active team for ‘grinding’ though suggestions and bug reports? Or just close the section on these forms. EZ
